Do you ever think of verses,
While you're brushing your teeth?
Then repeat them inside your head,
As if you're counting sheep?
You rush into your room,
And scribble the lines down.
Do you?
I do.

Do you ever think of things to say,
Not caring if it wants to be heard?
You just get some thoughts together.
Then you pick at some of the words.
And In this wonderful world,
You have the choice to be silent,
While shouting out your emotions.
You don't have to like talking.
You just write things down.
Poetry it becomes.
Soulfully yours and meaningful to more than one.

The poems might just come to you.
Or you might have to think.
But however you come up with it,
You'll be making beauty.
You'll be an artist in control.

Wouldn't we all love to know,
That through this we have power.
The ability to gather thoughts,
And turn them into flowing poems.
That our words can be effective.
That they don't just comfort us.
If we knew they made others feel things,
Relate or understand.
Well that would be fantastic.
That's what we all want to hear.
To be told someone's enjoyed it,
Or that it made them shed a tear.
Knowing that someone understood.
That someone's complimenting how you use words.
It's an amazing feeling.
Especially when poetry's what your so close to.
You owe it all the world.
So someone's compliment,
Would brighten up your days.

If you are a poet,
Then you might understand this.
But we are all different.
We understand different things.
What one could write,
Others may not be able to read.

My parents
Tell me to look upward
To find god
My therapist
Tells me to look inward
To find a cause
So I'm left here
Answering every multiple choice question
With "C guys, I'm fine"
Because it's easier to pretend
That life is perfect
Than deal with the fact that their efforts are worthless

I will destroy you
In the most beautiful
Way possible
And when I leave
You will finally understand
Why storms
Are named after people

Love they say can usually be found just around the corner
The problem is we sometimes fail to make the “Right” turn
A collection of my Quotes that I will be adding to as time goes by.
I will be adding all Quotes in this tread

With head bowed I kneel before thee
And ask for forgiveness and sympathy
The distance and silence is killing me
Making my heart weep like a willow tree
Fearing the loss of your friendship and beauty
I will suffer to no end if this is our destiny
Sending me a message would make me so happy
Une petite minute de vous, pourrais me sauver la vie

Some things are not meant to be shared
There are places that haven't been explored
Sights that have yet to be seen

But you somehow discovered this dark place of mine
It was never meant for you to find
Some things are better left unknown

I'm sorry is all I can repeat
As I sob with tears
welling in my glossy eyes
Burying my face between
my drenched sleeves
Gasping for air

Just wishing
To be anywhere
But here
To feel anything
But this
To be anyone
But me

My head is a montage of teens staring at their ceilings,
devoid of all life
and at a loss of all feeling
except pain and suffering beyond their years.
Screaming and shouting drowning their ears,
coming from themselves, their parents, their siblings, their friends.
Facing, developing, becoming their fears.
Picking flower petals and personalities.
Tear-stained wrists, blood-filled cheeks.
Love and hate, life and death.
Soft and rough, easy and tough.
Future and present.
Faceless, nameless
children, kids.
The people of the future, broken by the past.
Newly-named 'The Now'. Right now.
Kiss their best friends, yes.
The party-goers.
"Love who you are."
"Pay for nothing."
Always pay the price.
