That golden sunrise
against the summer horizon,
Bursting through the purest of sky blues
calming and secure,
was easy to get lost in.
Like the shades in your eyes that day,
a whole spectrum.
An entire world in your depths,
filled with seas and landscapes.
Where I wish to scale it's mountains
and deep dive it's oceans.
And then I catch myself swimming.
Swimming towards an indigo.
Your indigo.
I was getting lost in it's twilight,
Like a super nova from an exploded star.
A color that wakes up all of my sense
you brushed upon my lips,
Painting in shades that the world envies to create.
It just lingered there,
absorbing into my skin
coloring every word I say.
Swirling in a mist,
a color that orbits over me now.

I drink you with my eyes ,
You run into my veins ,
Like adrenaline rush .
My thoughts are louder ,
I whisper to my heart...hush!

I see you ,
Like fresh perfume,
You linger in my breath .
You finally appear here,
On my paper until death...

I see you*.
I hold you in my eyes though I can't be with you ...
I saw your hands
brush against my fingertips last night
and stared while you carefully knitted your digits into mine
as if I were a birthday balloon
given to you at school
that you showed off with excitement and pride

I saw you stare at me last night
while I floated in the corner of your room
slowly sinking as the hours passed by

talking in a room full of helium
your voice rose octaves
my eyes never left you

I woke up this morning
touching nothing but my own floor.
Popped by reality.
There's something different
About your eyes
Their pale color
Gives you a strange appearance
A look described as depth
Something solemn
Pale eyes
That seem to know
To understand
Everything
The oddest part about your eyes
Isn't that they're blue
But the appearance they give you
And I wonder
If when I look in the mirror
At my own eyes so pale
If I too look solemn and deep
If I have that same knowing
That same understanding look
The same haunting expression
That you do.
Is your ulterior beauty justified by what my eyes perceive?
Or is that which is held within its own shade of hideousness?
Will appealing faces arrange for my downfall?
—Being captivated solely by how beautiful you are?
Or will reality shatter and return me to my senses?
Will your charm have weakened and my guard have lessened?
Will I shred your layers and be able to see?
Who are you really when I plunge skin deep?

You eclipsed me like my moons,
In melted darkness I lie.
Suns gave away sheer,
My  lights gold you stole,
In Satined darkness,
your eclipse holds.

You eclipsed me like my moons,
Silver love you shined.
Cold whispers on curtains lingered,
Dusk you bring unto my eyes,
Here you eclipse,
in silence I sigh!

You eclipsed me like my moons,
I smell lilies bloom on my sheets.
Lifting the eclipse you,
You rise to leave,
Promising new suns you would,
again set in my eyes....

You eclipsed me like my moons*....
Spending thousand suns and moons ,
Lay worthless to your one sight!
