Love spills out from me in the form of words and tears and laughter.

I want to touch you and hold you and kiss you and love you so tenderly and with such softness that one wrong step could crush me.

Put me in your mouth and chew me up.
Take a bite out of my ripe, tender skin.
All you’ll find in this flesh, is love love love. Sweet and soft and juicy the way a peach bleeds.

this feeling is not
symbiotic: you reduce
my core to nothing

I saw angels.
I was dazed.
I have been blessed to see another day.

Unforeseen things can happen quick.
Like a sudden accident.

I see more than blessing many thoughts was impossible.

These wax wings stood no chance against your rays; I was warned, I know, but what's more tempting than safety

or perceived safety.

Like Icarus I fell from the sky into the waters and met a cancer; now i'm drowning cause I can't swim.

i'd rather be star gazing
but that's what got me here in the first place.

the tender stroke away of a child’s tear,
the welcoming of a smile delightfully unexpected,
a first grade art project so successful
it is mounted forever on a
front door Hall of Fame

a good cry all your own,
in private sobbing,
mouth mourning the absence of
a kiss on the back of your neck
shivers with surprising waves of pleasure,
that announces you are more than noticed
