like sleeping through a storm
her tears falling, unseen
crashed like silent raindrops
and washed away the road
we walked in different directions
intending to meet at the same location
destinations and destinies
intertwined
yet never one
...and the same

Facing my fears
I have taken a huge step
and
years of worry have fallen away,

'tis true what they say that
a single day can change your life.

Past coral garden,
Dive to the depth of blue night;

Nature is her nurse
She wrote her essence every time

I don’t know why she left
Like Aretha, made me cry
Whatever drove her off
I just want to say good-bye
