You give me
These songs like
Youve thought it
Over a millions
Times.
For just an
Hour I had
You.
But that was
All I needed.
You were there,
So it made
Everything perfect.
"I wish you well."

(but not too well without me)
I like 10 word poems because it forces you to summarize your thoughts  to the point where you're really only saying what you mean.
Maybe I should try using that same theory in my own life, haha.

Sometimes with the Heart
Seldom with the Soul
Scarcer once with the Might
Few—love at all.
sway with me, everything sad --
madmen in stone houses
without doors,
lepers steaming love and song
frogs trying to figure
the sky;
sway with me, sad things --
fingers split on a forge
old age like breakfast shell
used books, used people
used flowers, used love
I need you
I need you
I need you:
it has run away
like a horse or a dog,
dead or lost
or unforgiving.
he was tall
i am short
he was strong
i am weak
he was the football star
and homecoming king
i was the girl
who sat alone in the library
and kept her head down in the hallways
he was loved
i was invisible
but some how
he, of all people
saw me, and loved me.
he made me feel beautiful
and made me happy
he tickled and teased his way
into my chaotic mind
he kissed and charmed his way
into my heart
but he was the sun
and i am the moon
we weren't meant to collide
but when we did
the universe exploded
and the blast sent us our own ways
he left me
but i never left him.
i follow in his shadow
glimpses of his iridescent light
is the only thing that keeps me going.
but he is the sun
and i am the moon
we will never be together again.
and that is what will **** me.
so. yeah. i wonder what he thinks about when he hears my name.
OK! OK! I'm awake
You come in here and put your fingers all over me
Some of you go rattling off like a machine gun
Some of you hit me so hard, I feel like I'm going to break
Then, there are those who two finger me to death
I feel like Rodney Dangerfield; how about some respect
Sincerely, your keyboard : )

PS. Thanks for the food crumbs but please keep your fingernails to yourself
I'm an IT guy; I just had a moment : )

I am
swelled
soaking
up
words
that
seep
into
my
heart
from
the
contemplation
of
you.
I lost my mind when you died
I don't remember the exact time you left,
but I remember how it felt..
and I promised myself I wouldn't speak of you again,
But today i found myself at your funeral.
Consumed with sorrow, I looked into your eyes'
and it was then I knew you were truly gone.
So lifeless and empty,
I was overpowered with grief,
You need a heart to survive;
and without you I lost half of my heart.
So, consider me half dead.
"For I will love you until we become dust, and I will continue until our dust becomes dust."
I don't know much about physics,
but I can assure you I am physically broken,
and if you looked into my eyes, you wouldn't see anything.
No hope.
Nothing.
All I want to do is feel again.
I am numb, and I can't take away the numbness.
I keep reaching for you and as soon as I get close enough to touch you,
You're gone again.
My last wish was to wake up, reach for you, and you be there laying next to me.
Holding me.
Kissing me.
Loving me.
For eternity.
Because I am eternally in love with you.
But you're dead..
and I'm not sure I can live with that.
I wrote this poem about the one boy who will forever hold my heart.  He is not literally dead, but his soul is gone. I don't know if I will ever hold him again, i pray that I do though.
