South-by-Southwest
I was before this dusty moon
I was before this star was born
I traveled for billions of years
Just in time to arrive here

I passed by depression's deepest secrets
I watched as galaxies
Were swallowed whole
Taken by the huge black holes

My carbon atoms from a long dead star
Collected by earth's magnetic pull
Has added me to it's list of grievences
Making me up for just this instance

No one knows just who we are
From where was our lost dead star
Crowded together we shed a tear
For the loves of our lost lightyears
All heavy molecules come to this planet from dead stars that collapsed and exploded sending their heavy matter in all directions into the universe . We are the remnants of those long dead stars and again someday as this sun of ours expands , swallowing Earth and all of this solar system , it will again collapse and explode casting us out again on a new voyage into the unknown .

(I)
Her hour upon the stage,
She struts and frets.
Applause, admiration
Behind a mask to reflect.

In moments of true emotion,
Behind closed doors,
The mask would slip off
And shatter on the floor.

(II)
As years went by
And her heart withered,
She’d rather keep the mask on.
Revealing her true-self she feared

So secure behind the guise
So full of her-assumed-self.
She diffused into the mask
And the mask into herself.

(III)
Two eyes in the crowd
Shone apart from the rest.
They were there for the she,
She had always neglect.

While the crowds cheered on,
In those eyes at her affixed,
For a few flickering seconds
Her true self she glimpsed.

By the mirror she stood.
Hand clasped to her face,
In futile agony,
This mask to efface.

(IV)
“A mask may be adamant.
It may cover the face whole
But it can never drape
Those windows to the soul.”

“It will be difficult to search
The true-self long concealed.
Let these drape-less windows
The path reveal.”

“Look deep in mine eyes,” said he.
Angels don't cry for me
Shadow light sprinkle lightly on my head don't you see. .

Sparkles lightening in the sky
Dying grey day envelopes the way
Where hearts surges to follow the silence of art
with wind beneath your wings
I beg you not to cry ...

Having taken the journey
from dark to light
became the beginning of the end
discovering my own source
hence the reason to look within ...

Soft wind prayers surrounding the hearts
That fluffs like the peaks
Of the valley alms that leeks
Where random fathoms live so well
High on the hills that ring their bell
In a gentle sweet sound
Finally To be found. ....

Angels Don't Cry for me....*

Her monstrous tongue
spits fire

before her ire
the demon cowers

his limbs sloth
before her fiery wrath

by her annihilating eyes
no more can he rise.

Returns lull

If the sun had hands, he’d reach out
to touch the curve of the moon’s spine, tracing
his fingers along each crater as she lit up
for him like a paper lantern
in the sky. His flamed limbs enveloping
her, his Luna. The arch of her back
against the backdrop of night, her fullness
intoxicating. After all this time, still burning for her.

When the sun was given hands, he cursed them
as he watched the moon crumble
into ash in the blaze. His hands were Rome
and he couldn’t stop the collapse, the ruins of her
scattered across his cupped palms. He prayed
to Moirai for revival, but all three gods
were silent. Choking back flames of fury, he tossed
his beloved into the black expanse, each flake still lit
with a passion to rebel the stars
that continue to burn with foolish hope.

The reclusive mind
Looks for the unknown
Searching deep corners
Swerving at the concealed bend
The path that lay there
Away from everyone’s sight
Lonely pilgrimage

A Tree of Life with roots of evil will die in the storm,
before it’s ever born.
The sun will be its father, and it will be raised by mother earth.
If it soaks up knowledge it will survive its birth.
Sprouting ideas while growing its spirit.
There’s a whisper in the wind... be quiet and you can hear it.
Doesn’t need to fear it, when the weather gets cloudy.
It knows its true colors and reveals them proudly.
It cannot be not shy, because when it looks around.
It realizes every other tree is similar,
Just different branches in the ground all waiting to be found.
Discovered and loved; nourished by nature.
It realizes its reflection is its only true stranger.
Covered with bark so you cannot see the inner.
Shadowed by the dark, transforms to a sinner.
A stump at worst, and a home at best.
Too much is in between to explain the rest.
Now let it be known, when the red leaf falls,
It’s the end of a season for no apparent reason.
Time to change its ways; it won’t take a few days.
Give it time to mature to reach its full potential.
It sounds so simple, yet gets complicated.
When it timbers down, something new is created.
It went from a seed to sprout, conquered any drought.
Now with a shout of thunder, it just can’t help to wonder.
"Why am I here, and what is my purpose?"
But if it received the answer, would life really be worth it?

...
" I wish I had someone to ride with me, the way down town... Delve into the rabbit-hole, flip us inside out. Wishing for nothing other than the pleasure each other can offer. I want a friend. A *****, clean, friend. I'm not afraid to say what I need. I wish for someone to walk into the dark with me. I want someone so irrefusably crystalline, that in a simple kiss, I'd shoot to the stars, and blast out a dream. " **

Enchanted by a set of ocean tinted eyes.
They cast me through to precious times,
Of unlived highs and endless nights.

We gaze on to the other side,
And drift out with the tide.

Your touch transmits a frequency,
Forever fitting into me.
The tops of trees kiss the breeze,
That leads us to the Crystal Sea.
And here is where we find ourselves,
Sipping on wet rain drop tea;
Tasting of love's luxury.

So I embrace this new found face,
And trust in all the light,
That is seeping right,
From under you.
(Oh how I think you're beautiful)
Soaked in truth,
Like the wet full moon,
Gracing upon the ever-ocean.
We glide through time and onto bliss: Perpetual Motion.

And I could ride this all the way downtown.
With the breath of your love and your heart beat's sound.
I wanna breathe in your love and hear your heart beat loud.

And I might cry.
Might shout and try,
To wake me from this obvious dream.
Sometimes it seems,
Like this couldn't be real.
Oh, you're such a big deal.
But I know it's true by the way I feel.

So it does live on, this lovely trip lives
Right where my tongue left your lips.
Where the sun drips onto the wet full moon,
Filling our glasses with a love tycoon.

Lost in the soundwave of your soul,
That's singing a tune so pure and whole.

Oh, I wanna get down,
To the deep ends of town.

So I follow your heart beat's sound.

The river of consciousness
Flows tranquil, in me
From the mind it starts the journey
Navigating everyday obstacles
Washing away everyday doubts
Keeping the heart replenished
Along the course of the soul
Enhancing all the senses
Awareness knows no bounds
Beyond the realm of seen
At the end of the day
When I am tired
Of the routine
I dive into the river of consciousness
Washing away the today
To start a new day
With new questions
To search for new answers
Every day I am empty
Ready to drink
From the river of consciousness
New realization
Of greater prospects
New consciousness
Emanates from the core
No limitations
In the source of consciousness

A mirror
constantly
in the state
of not knowing.
It only
Reflects
from the
outside...

Pure awareness
constantly
in the state
of knowing.
It reflects
Itself
In
Itself*...
