in a world where we pray to be united
within the grasp of wholehearted humanity
standing tall
we sink in the dirt beneath our feet
and holding our heads up high we sing with the utmost pride
a song of which becomes a chanting notion
setting the tone for revenging entities
growing weary of the unwanted waste we toss our visions in the sea
without daring to take the promising chance

how are we to stand together
in a castle built to crumble in its past?

and yet we become the fools
lost in the fight and lost in our grieving
we walk the streets with our banners and our anger
without understanding what we are feeling

let me take you back to nineteen sixty three
when we marched on Washington
and we were lead by a King
what merely started as the seed of a dream
became the prelude to never ending history
yet with each milestone comes adversaries
and we still cry the tears of our fallen fathers
we still cry to be free

but remember my brothers and sisters
to be mindful in your actions
for blood does not wash blood away
and because the tongue can be a sword
be mindful of every single word you say
the whole world is unjust
be emotional if you must
but the time is now to be reflective
to be knowledgeable
to be respected
because the hearts of our sons and daughters
still need to be protected

the sun my still set orange
and they moon may still shine white
the day may still end at quarter to
the moment everything is night
and in each passing day are you going to become the change that is needed to win the fight?

are you going to do what's right?

And ain't that the
TRUTH
You're the source of true Life, and strength to walk.
You're the source, to everything that is good here.
You're the source,  to Love, peace, as well as purpose.
You're the source of Mercy, true Hope, and Healing.
For you are the only door to new life in heaven above.
For there is no other way to eternal life not even an open window.
Only one path shall give you a key to perfect peace as well.
For only you Lord Jesus shall lead us to a perfect life.
One pave with true growth into becoming your disciple.

she may hurt, but she is not pain.
she may fail, but she is not a failure.
she may be tragic, but she is not tragedy.

*she may feel worthless,
but this, too, will pass.
so it's always worth reminding people (i.e. myself) that just because you feel something in the moment doesn't mean that it's permanent. an emotion is an instant, no matter how long the ache lasts, and an instant cannot define you.

There was once a carpenter's son;
he died by his stepfather's profession
about an item made of wood

He died by his stepfather's profession
carrying wood upon his back

He died by his stepfather's profession
with wood touching him
He died by his stepfather's profession
by wood with nails in skin...
Ironically this man of love and peace
who preached peace and
love knew about wood
by his earthly father;
died on wood...
in the land of the white
live too the black men
apparently with equal right
but with covert disdain.

why couldn't the world be one place
when we are all from common gene
where humanity is the only race
across the color of skin.

in the land of the black
live too the white men
apparently of the same pack
but on a different plane.

why couldn't the world be one landmass
when we rose from one origin
where being humane is the only class
across the color of skin.

in the land of the white
live the white men
among them aren't equal right
exist disparity and disdain.

why couldn't the world be one unit
when together we all once had been
where brotherhood is boldly writ
across the color of skin.

in the land of the black
live the black men
among them oneness they lack
the inequalities still remain.*

why couldn't the world be one creed
where mankind lives as one kin
the white and the black can only read
love across the color of skin.

Top of the line cars,
Luxurious jewelry,
Millions of money and gold bars,
Does having all these makes us truly happy?

Perhaps, at some instances,
These worldly things brings joy
Providing a temporary relief
Giving us something to be proud of having.

But what our hearts truly yearns for
Is not all these mundane things,
But the genuine happiness
Felt deep within our hearts.

It is in those simple moments
Like having bonding times with our family,
Like hanging out with friends and sharing laughters,
Like reading poems and books that take us to fantasies,
Like walking on the seashore listening to the sound of the waves,
Like lying on top of the hill gazing at the stars,
Like hearing the children's laughter,
Like having an adventure in a place we have never been,
Like letting our body sway with the music,
Like climbing a mountain and reaching its peak,
Like being wrapped in our special someone's arms,
Like doing things that will bring happiness to others,
Like watching as the sun rises on the horizon,
Like writing this poem hopefully to light up someone's day.
Have a great and happy day! :)

For God hath not given us the
spirit of fear; but of power,
and of love, and of a
sound mind.

"... fear is the little death..."

"Anxiety is fear in
sustained release"
SoulSurvivor

Come what may
I will not fear
though all the
powers of hell appear
I will not fear the
arrow by day
though I'm thrown
into the fray
I will not fear
or fret disease
I will not worry
my brow's uncreased

Ten thousands of people
shall pass near me
I'll have no anxiety
Though many perish
at my right hand
I'll not be moved
I'll make my stand
I don't think
this statement odd
For I have a friend in

GOD

Taken from Psalms 91

Fear truly is the little death
It causes stress and worry
and these things can
**** YOU

I used to feel anxious for
no reason at all
I had to take
Benzodiazapines
to calm down and sleep

Now I am completely free of them
I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ
He has NEVER let me down
I may not be able to get out of the
situation I am in right away
BUT HE HAS ALWAYS RESCUED
ME RIGHT AT THE MOST
IMPORTANT MOMENT

He's an on-time God!

A pair of lovely comments
did I recieve today
they were, in fact, quite
wonderful
for they were
POETRY

I had set off a spark
a fine artistic muse
my work had inspired them
gave them words to use!

I will not stay silent
their good deeds won't be hid
I was completely
blown away
by the work they did!

So, gentlemen,
you tipped your hats
to poetry impart
you tipped your hats
to honor me
so I will

tip my HEART!
