call me at the midnight hour by the rainy window
we will watch the blue stars come alive
shooting down
into the late december sea

What we have is good, and what's out there is better
but we're right here, with cold iced tea.
The meaning of life is in your grasp,
why do you spend time with me?

Why be deep when it doesn't matter?
Why be deep when we have us?
Why find meaning in a world with no answers?
Let's settle for "just because".

I wait for the day when you'll outgrow me.
Cast me aside with your toy trucks & dolls.
I'm holding you back from a shining future,
why do you bother at all?

Why be deep when it doesn't matter?
Why be deep when we have us?
Why find meaning in a world with no answers?
Let's settle for "just because".

You're genuine, I love that about you.
When you're deep, you're not posing,
You're actually knowing
things no one has a business to know.
I don't want to keep you,
but I worry about you, or about me
when you are gone.
I love when we talk
but it only reminds me
that I'm so far behind where you are.
And I'm too scared to say
this to you because
I'll just look needy
& drive you away from me...

I know you will leave, & go chase your sunrise.
I'm only prolonging the inevitable.
I'm happy you're staying and talking
and being, but I realize your life is full.
how to let go?

We are the ones who are hard to understand
We'll be the last ones in the movie theatre
because the ending scene made us cry
We'll stop to smell the roses
because they deserve to be appreciated
We are the ones who will take the time
to learn what keeps you up at night
We are the ones who will imagine
an entire future of adventures
with the people who show us love

We are the ones who will love you more
than we love ourselves
We will give you our strongest parts
in hopes that we can make things better
We desire to see you become the best you
to make sure that you always feel our love
We crave affection and appreciation
We give a piece of ourselves away every day
sometimes to people who don't deserve it
Our love is easy to take advantage of
and sometimes we don't get back
the love that we give away

When we hurt, we crumble and fall apart
We constantly have to put ourselves back together
We are more fragile than we like to give off
We carry our emotions on our sleeves
Our flaws have the ability to consume us
We aren't afraid to give you the world
but we are afraid to feel unloved
We want you to see what we see
We want you to understand where we're coming from

We are good people with good intentions
We are stronger than we believe
Not everyone can feel the way we feel
We feel too much, too often
We are not hard to love
We are something not everyone knows how to love
But you need to remember that
your worth does not change just because
no one is there to appreciate you, to remind you

You are not any less lovable
You are the most lovable person in the world
You are a light that the world needs
Your kindness is not your weakness
You do not need to change for anyone's acceptance
You do not need to stop giving love
just because you don't get any back
Your heart is the best thing about you

And one day when you least expect it
someone will notice you from across the room
and know exactly how to love you
They will think all of these things are beautiful
They will deserve the love you can give
They will fill the empty space in your heart
But for now, don't stop feeling
We are the ones who feel everything so deeply
We are the ones who can't give up because
We are the ones who will teach the world
how to love
We are exactly who we are supposed to be
I reached for the stars,
And I think I may have reached too far.
The stars, they blistered and scorched my hands,
While I was just trying to understand
Of why in the first place I was there;
Up in space throwing a glare
at the moon.

The moon who shun a godly, divine light,
And at night
Who was so bright, white,
And elegant.
Space who was dark, and as dim as my soul:
The colour of ash and coal.
I was just trying to obtain a stupid goal
That I had.

And the moon was white, and the space was black.
The stars were gold and I had my back
Towards the earth.
But the gold stars and the white moon were not all that
When they brought down an evil wrath
On me.
So the sun, who I actually feared,
Cradled and held me near.
Rocked me from side to side and called me dear.
Circled the earth and formed a year
To teach me that looks can be deceiving,
Misleading,
And can lead to infinte internall bleeding.
[yes, ik that the sun does not circle the earth, but it went w/ the poem so **** :)]

if the ink kept flowing still,
even when i'm gone,
the parchment would've worn and will
keep bleeding until dawn
a meek and mild fawn,
our hands intertwined, i see
love, but can it be?

and the ink was like a void,
endless, it drew me in
strong, yet slim and coy
it didn't end or begin;
the places it has seen?
everywhere, it seems
from stars to broken dreams
it never lets go of me

if it had stopped again,
it'd surely be a mistake
but i'm lying now, my friend
and these feelings no longer wake
our hearts, why must it ache?
yet, not for love, you see
to be adored and be set free

my lamp was like the sun
the paper, but a moon
they both depend on each other,
or so, they thought, but soon
sadly, tender moon
knew about the lies
the moon was never needed,
not even in the sky

and things like tumbleweeds,
tangled ***** of string,
express my thoughts in me
but don't even begin
to tell what i think within
it's so messy, yet so clean
my thoughts of shattered dreams

and upon a slender flower,
a tender little stem,
we have undying power
to speak feelings within
a pen glazed in glittered gold
easily has told,
by trickling some ink,
and using fragile strokes,
you can say just what you think,
even the untold.

There is a prayer in the wind
that you cannot see
if we close our eyes
would you read it to me ?

The word that twirls a lady in
a windy moors
with daffodils watching her from afar
moving their bodies to the velocity and rhythm

Words, words, words,
the flowers took a glance of a
pummeled heart
the next day where clouds gloom
pouring anger to a lonely life
the lady lay on a bed of grass
waiting for the rain to melt
her raging heart

Little daisies whisper
as the lady found a shade
and sat looking at a tranquil sky
She waited and waited
until the night came to cover the dismal eyes

Every day the flowers
await for the beam of sunlight
and the soft touch of the wind
who used to play with the
lady in the moors

She disappeared without a trace

One day, she came back with
a discreet smile
walking with grace
on her way to paradise
she planted a sunflower
under the sunlight

she looked up and blinded by the glint
the flowers giggled
and started dancing again.

All indecencies, all sins
are forgiven.
Not by I, nor by God,
but by the moon itself.
The moon,
the only true witness
to the crimes of mankind.

The blood spilled,
the lies told,
the affairs had;
the moon saw them all,
yet he shone no less brightly
than before.
He, who knows
my crimes;
he, who tells all time.
He, who judges not.

The man in the moon.
Any suggestions for improvements?

She’s a Poem
He’s an Invisible Ink

She’s a Love Ballad
He’s a Vocal Less Echo

She’s a Soothing Lullaby
He’s a Muted Lyric

She's a Warm Breeze
He's a Whimpered Wind

She’s a Wished Rain
He’s a Thirst in Desert

She’s a Flying Dream
He’s a Falling Demon

She’s Nourishing on Pages
He's Dissolving into Ink

As if, Final Chapter of His Book in a Making?
She May Breathe Forever in His Silent Echoes...
for you dearest 'Lady of the Sea'
