Rebel Heart
Spare me your lies
They still sting
Dipped in sweet caramel
Because Darling,
There's no way to sugar-coat
The way you stole my heart
And crushed what was left of it
Right in front of my eyes
That moment
When it all
Came crashing down
That moment
When your sweet lips
Tasted hers.

atop the glistened mirror top
where the sky projects on this mirrored  surface
clouds and limitless
floats a small girl almost flower like
lotus pearl white arms pirouette
a flowered world on a
polished pond a vision
of graphene serenity
stronger than anything
like looking at melting suns
starbursts and signatures
of Greek gods acclaim
la fleur so small
grandiose
beauty stemmed
perfectionist
floating proud
independent
an image
glowing
sincere
just there

Rebel Heart
You grabbed me so tight
As if you grabbed my soul
And suddenly I was alive
Dancing under your electric touch
Our hearts thumping to the bass
Of the rhythm of our bodies
Colliding and crashing
Intertwining
Under the light of the stars
Lost in the breathlessness
And your intoxicating scent
We came together as one
Just to fall apart
Over and over
And over again

Her arms so arabesque,
choreographed by Balanchine,
smoothly flow
raise and lower
in time to unheard melodies,
A Flamingo when this lady
dresses.
Bees and birds stop fluttering,
watch, as
she pulls those stockings
slow, so slowly
up her silky leg
to heaven.
yes a repost

Rebel Heart
They were wrong about hell
Turns out it really exists
But it's not where I crawled out from
It's the space between our lips
Another gem from the lyric wall... ~BM

Rebel Heart
Her skin
Was his canvas
His hands painting
The milky way
His kisses mapping
The universe
Unfolding into a cliche
Another quote from the lyric wall because why not.. I can't thank you all enough for all the love and support so far Keep spreading the love ~BM

Rebel Heart
Because underneath this thick armor
That I put on as skin
I'm nothing but starved bones
And a broken heart
Empty
for miles
And miles
And miles
Within
I found out Rebel Heart has a "lyric wall" and I read this particular snippet and realized I heard this original song of hers. Makes me wonder how many other original masterpieces she's been hiding. You can expect many more 'sneak peeks' of the lyrical poetry from this infamous wall though. I only wish I could hear the songs along with them ~BM

I remember her that evening
Those auburn eyes
That velvet touch
Words can't describe that feeling
That feeling I miss so much

We grew our separate ways
Sayin' you want to be on your own
Only I was still in love
Because of this I learned so much

I often think about those moments
And how things might of been
A night doesn't go by
That I don't want you here with me

But then I think back to that evening
Those auburn eyes
That velvet touch
Words can't describe that feeling
That feeling I miss so much

how have I forgotten
foolish me
my lips across your skin
just memories
you would think we would have learned
from the past that we had made
that we were not meant for each other
and that's the price we pay
