Giorgia Travaglione
small words,
many meanings.
while mindset got worse,
I got more feelings.
need my mind to search for rhymes.
felt sad and happy, too many times.
I’m using a pencil to shine brighter
a little text to feel a bit nicer.
don’t know where I’m going,
just trying to keep growing.
this is a poem about a poem.
after a few words I feel lighter.
I’m not an artist, I’m just a writer.

I read about some love today.
I could only smile.
Closed my eyes
to that good feeling,
gald that yearning's still alive.

I read about some love today.
Only shed a single tear.
This isn't love you just read about,
This is love that you must feel.
love......

Lost in my own thoughts.
Tangled, twisted, sticky, sweet.
My endless retreat.

Monsters don’t exist
Still, we are very afraid
Because we made them
Monsters. A concept so often used to represent anything dislikable to society, which we are afraid of. Yet literal monsters don’t exist.

Demons are just FALLEN ANGELS.
They fell
From HEAVEN to HELL,
And unlike angels,
DEMONS have a STORY to tell.
Good and evil.
It's just two sides of the same coin.

You feel you are the only
But there are many, socially distanced:
Unseen and unknown, gifted but imprisoned;
For the time is not yet, but it tarries not:
In half a time and not the fullness thereof.
Today is not a strange day;
That day will be when two are agreed,
And heaven, the sun, moon and stars
Fall down and bow low to Man.

It's 2:00 AM
but I am wide awake
Thinking of
the right colors
to paint
on my empty canvas
Poetry
has been my refuge
It has been
my outlet for creativity,
my outlet for happiness
and my outlet for sadness
It gives me great pleasure
to look for
the right words to say
It is
the manifestation
of my artistry

To write poetry is to
tear your soul
in small pieces
and stick them down
on a piece of paper
in a wave
of overcoming power

The Wonderess
Sister,
You are like
The magnificent
Moon

When you feel
Your power waning
Know it will be restored
To it’s fullness soon...

sometimes i catch myself
going over the things you said

and wonder if there were things
you didn’t say

if you felt selfish things
you considerately couldn’t say

things
i would have liked to hear

things that would cause us pain

Where we're lost
and left confused

Where we're drowned
by unending doubts

Where we questioned
our life decisions

Where we live
and sleep normally
