My insecurities are mine, you try to heal but do not feel the insecurities that I conceal, I store them deep within myself, inside a jar upon a shelf, wear a smile braced like a Sheild, protect yourself, fight not too feel.

But you have broke me, mind and soul, kiss the imperfect make me whole, and in return I'll let you see, her who I so wish to be, I'll let you love what I cannot, for you are what I've always sought, perfection in its place a man, with loving eyes and gentle hands.

There's a yellow warmth in the darkest of winters
The way a freezing cold wind would feel on a day when the sun blinds eyes

Vivid memories almost tangible
Beautiful like teenagers in old films with lovers
But sour from expired decisions and undecided intentions.

Earth made his first move into the unknown, and you think you know what uncertainty is
Vulnerability is love.

Am I

Am I an apperception?
I got "someone" who needs me in her life,
I got "people" who need me six fit under,
I am an ambitious person so...
They dislike me for my ambitions...

Am I the chosen "one"?
I pray everyday when I wake up and before I sleep,
Including everyone who's important to me...
I see things that happened when I wasn't there,
I see things that will happen before they do
Sill not going to church, yet...

Am I who I am?
Is What I see in the mirror an illusion,
Or pretentiousness...
Do they dis/like me for my fractal expression,
Or something else unknown...
Am I an appreciation to this world?

Life asked death
Why do people love me
Death responded
Because you are
A beautiful lie
And i am a painful truth

Spasms of pain controlled by the brain.
Hitting the ground without a sound.
Itching to see if you'll hear my plea.
Trusting the dark to leave its blue mark.

Sister who conceived was thrown outta the nunnery
This disgrace fed the top feeds hence.
Shunning all her exemplary works at once.
But where did the well-read ladies lose reference?
THE BOOK had revealed it all right there,
But when history repeated itself...
with just a track from heaven missing
And so this mother raised a fatherless child.
But in history when the father was a Carpenter.
Here in time the father was a Father
Who continued to raise "patriarchy" on the altar!

I entered a church
Or perhaps it was a cathedral?
But it does not really matter,
Because its all the same to me.

I am not particularly religious,
But I believe in a God, and a Devil,
And Souls.

I like the stories,
And the smell of church candles and incense and hope and guilt mixed together
With the tantalising intoxicating feeling
Of having all your sins spilling out of your throat and every
Single part of you.

All is seen.

So looking at saints and windows and benches
And the colours that filter through and leap and dance
I sobbed.

Because I am scared
And because I have sinned
And because every moment I am thinking
Do I want what I have been given
Or am I ready to leave everything behind

In the search for divinity.
Ancient words,
they're fading fast.
Once important,
but they won't last.

Some worship,
many Gods.
Others view that,
as being wrong.

What once held the world together,
is now helping pull it apart.

We're killing religion,
with every breathe we take.
We're killing religion,
with every move we make.

With theories like evolution,
the true making of man,
it's time for religion,
to make a stand.

Science attacks,
things like the Bible.
Religion suffers,
trapped in survival.

Science fails,
to provide hard evidence,
and supplies us with,
things completely irrelevant.

What once held the world together,
is now helping tear it apart.

They're killing religion,
with every breathe they take.
They're killing religion,
with every move they make.

With theories like evolution,
the true making of man,
it's time for religion,
to make a stand.

Technically, theoretically,
these so called religions,
just can't be.

That's what they think,
but if they are wrong,
they will have to answer,
to their maker, God.

They're trying to **** religion,
with every breathe they take.
They're trying to **** religion,
with every move they make.

With theories like evolution,
the true making of man,
isn’t it time religion,
finally makes a stand.
