It's 11:11
and for the first time
after a very long time
I'm wishing for myself
and not for you

I look at someone else's poem
And I see flawlessness.
I look at my own
And I see nothing but flaws.
I write poetry to get away from the bad feelings.
Not to make more.
And it's hard.
Everything is hard.
I've become hard.
Hardened to the beauty of the world.
Hardened to the beauty of poetry.
All I can focus on is my own writing
As I try to be as good
As you.

in and out
oxygen
if you can breathe
you can live
if you can breathe
you can fight
so dont stop breathing
because i need you.

Dear me,
Don't just sit
Rise, and pursue greatness.

Don't just watch
Go after what you want.

Don't just exist
Strive and start living.

Don't just dream
Work hard and aim for success.

Don't get tired
Keep hiking until you get to the peak.

I replied "I buried my heart two days ago."

The very thought of her;
                     has me swollen,
                     with eager,
                     to please her,
                                 with vigor.

With a mother's heart, you learn ways to love.
With a mother's heart, you learn the meaning of giving.
When you have less most mothers give more?

And ask for nothing in return.

With a mother's heart, it's a great chance you know the love of God.
With a mother's love, you learn that mainly more like her.
She is the child's greatest protector.
