Watched me
secretly
Forgot me
purposely

Met me
Harried me
Regretted me
Married me

Made me a Mother
Made me a Wife
Gave over all others
Gave me a life

Loves me in Happiness
Loves me in Anger
Loves me in a dress
Loves me naked, with Hunger

Counts me as a blessing
Counts me as a prize

Relies on me when stressing
Relies on me to tell no lies

Lays his head upon my lap
Lays his demons upon my sword
Lays his dreams upon my alter
Lays his problems outside the door

Sits in Silence at my tears
Sits grinning at my Triumph
Sits still in between the years
Sits complacently inside Love

My Valentine is not a day
not just one inside a year
He's everyday I live and breathe
He's the salt inside each tear
He's the foundation stone
of this Temple I call
My Life
My Valentine is
My Husband
and I am
His Wife
Happy 26th Valentines Day my Husband... Thank you for making the other 364 days of the year just as special :)

I stopped writing love poems when I met you,
and started writing psalms instead: I took
your lips as the body and your hips
as the blood of a Holy Spirit you’ve been
hiding in your eyes, your eyes, your eyes
that I’ve been praying to
worship, worship, worship. Some would call
this feeling blasphemy, but since it is winter,
I am willing to take a little trip down to hell
to melt the cold in my bones, especially
if that means I can walk you back
to Heaven. But don’t take this all too seriously
because
I stopped writing love poems when I met you,
and started writing psalms instead: I took
your words as Gospel and raised them to my
tongue and matched it with yours to bathe
myself in your waters to wash away my sins-
and yes, I am a sinner, for I have undertaken
many a Crusade to prove myself worthy
of you. But the blood of my enemies is your
hips. The lips of those I have left for you is
your body. And still in your hell I find Heaven.
But
don’t take this all too seriously because
I stopped writing love poems when I met you.
By request.

the night is young
you said to me
we'll write our song
of lovers free

with love so fierce
passion bold
my heart you pierced
soul you stole
Thank you for entering my life, making me family and creating safe harbor. I hope I am able to reciprocate in some small measure...

My sweet Valentine --
loved me wild
and loved me
recklessly;

took my
happy fragile heart;
and held it
really high;

dropped it --
like china;
admiring the glitter of my --
now shattered, scattered heart~

Some make a rigid Valentine decision,
and decide to treat the day with derision,
they say "it's manufactured and just a unit shifter
containing with anchors, no lift her."
Moaning "it's nothing, a card from the shop,
you're doing the curtailed capitalism hop,
you balcony scene flop."
Well, well done you feel more confident in your expression,
and not have to validate your impression
as it's taken as it is,
nice, that must be bliss,
but what is wrong with a day that says this...
a knowing I want you with a hall mark,
the look of arrive in my ball park,
a box of coca to give you a clue
that I really do, I really do love you,
flowers abundant to tell you how great
you make wow myself and anxiety alleviate,
maybe a reason to go for a meal and chat to the hilt
about how we are fantastically built;
any day that acknowledges this theme
is serenely seamed,
and,
not stupid;
high five to cupid!

Don't give me stolen sentiments, I'd rather have the wine. Don't paint my paths with fake rose petals, I'm a bitter valentine.

Diamonds are a girls best friend, let's face it you're always broke. You never write me poetry, and its all just one big joke.

That box of chocolates overpriced, it tastes like a cheap *****. All the efforts just a waste, to get in my front door.

Don't buy me flowers that are half dead, I can't stand to watch them waste away. Stupid men love stupid woman, on this stupid day.

I Kiss
     Your lips
         Because I can
I hold
      Your hips
         Because I can
I touch
      Your ****
         Because I can
I wrote
      You this
         Because I can

         Because I can

         Because I can

Your beauty match a cherry blossom tree
No a garden!
The love that grow inside of me.
The start of spring!
Getting warmer, getting brighter.
Makes my head feel lighter.
It must be love.

I am not a love poem.
But I am a liar.
I love you!
Happy Valentines day!

I won't be plucking off petals from my rose
like those lovesick Romeos and Juliets on park benches.
I don't need luck and petal symmetry to believe.

I won't litter the petals
like lipstick marks or blood stains on white sheets.
I won't be placing them in a vase half full,
that's temporary.

I have a better plan in mind,
a better way to immortalize
my rose. Deep within a gift,
pressed between pages
is a symbol of your love to me.
