Corona seems such a sweet name.

The howling wind is passing by
When they bury the men
and the  people cry
So many lifes forever changed.

Lockdowns all around
Nothing more the same
A crown shaped virus
Is to blame.

Corona doesn’t ask
what’s your color
what’s your race
what’s your faith
not even what’s your name.

The whole world
for once together
suffering the same
So many hurt
So much  pain remains.

People  take good care of yourself.
Protect yourself and each other
Stay safe!
I don’t need diamonds
I don’t need wealth
Just pick me a flower
for me to smell
Show me the moon
to caress my eyes
Play me a song
to sing in my heart
Give me your love
to elevate my soul
Then I’ll be happy
wherever we go.

You don’t need much to be happy in your heart
GQ James Dec 2020
Don't be quick to make an enemy,
Why not make a friend,
The ones we envy and hate we can keep close,
The hate can be transferred to love,
We hold on too much anger,
We can just release the love.

Stop hating each other,
Let's love each other,
Stop and think what you're doing,
Once you calm down you'll realize it,
Take your EMOTIONS out of the equation,
EMOTIONS cloud your judgement.

Women hating other women over some man,
Why hate her on what he did to you,
Make her your ally rather your enemy,
Let's come together not collide against each other,
Not enough togetherness in the world,
Let's create togetherness,
Let's end the war that's going on.
MAKE A FRIEND, STOP MAKING ENEMIES.

Yearning for frost sharp, gaudy lights
in November seems apposite in a year consistently blighted with dull, pedestrian horror

The itch to raise a tree and string lights
to no and every god
could be scratched this time

We can pack our proud sneers
in the loft or attic in exchange for
electric hope and cellophane cheer

As nights draw in
we’ll bluff metaphors of closeness
until a wellspring comes to right us

Guard your freedom flame: Do not permit
Events or people to extinguish it

Guard your freedom flame:
Or live a shackled life, corrode in chains
Without a vision of the sun or rain

Guard your freedom flame:
Or hear how truth is mocked by lies and lust
And let sweet souls be trampled in the dust

Guard your freedom flame:
See how turbulent times threaten its spark
Into the shadow and the waiting dark

Guard your freedom flame:
Share your spark, ignite hope for you and me
Increase, again increase, this liberty

Guard your freedom flame: Do not permit
Events or people to extinguish it

Do you ever leave me when
All my thoughts,
Every fibre you possess
Both night and day long?
In darkness you are my dreaming,
And all day my light and song.
Though disparate,
Distinct in beak and wing,
We are inseparable,
Gathered forever within.
The stars need the night to shine
How perfect the velvet midnight under the dazzling stars is
How pleasant it is when we notice not only those that shine.

The rain needs sun
To be allowed an embrace to its mother nature
Only when they are together
The children of the earth endure.

Plants cannot bear fruits with only roots alone
It is when all its other parts share the work together
From Earth's gentle bossoms
life  blooms.

And we are the kind of halos that cannot soar alone
For each of us is an angel with only one wing
And we can only fly
By pair or more  if we embrace one another.

Inspire by the words of Luciano De Crescenzo

"We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.”

Exiled to dusk,
Fractions of the sun
Begin to lift away,
In concealment
We shudder,
Casting our reels
Into a pond of uncertainty,
Clock hands bend
With advancing shadow,
And speak of time
Only in past tense.

I so want everything
I ever felt for you
Preserved for posterity,
Even should forever
Be far less than
We imagined.

Created.

Disconnected.

Engaged.

There’s a shortcut through this maze,

And it’s not rage.
