His voice echo in her mind
Words engraving her being
The dark space between them
Where they entangle cryptically
Destined to the forlorn demise
Chained and shackled with curse
A sullen face with intriguing eyes
A withered heart and bruised brain
The sonnet of melancholic mess
The story of inconsolable loss
Damaged tenuous souls in worship
Connected with waves of thoughts
She craves annihilation into him
He is distant lost in himself
Two naked souls dazed in madness
Existing in a questionable state

Were they children of
A loving Joint family
In a small village of
Of God's own country
Were they twelve in
Numbers of boys and girls
Making it a festival
In times of togetherness
Not a single day
They make a war
Having together
Their all day food
In a small dining room
Filling it with loud
Crackers of laughter
Enjoying even a
A watery porridge with
Fried coconut chutney
Together they slept
In an open night hall
Sharing their beds
And pillows with love
Seeing them sleeping
With their innocence
Standing the moon
With a sweet smile !
Girl, when we are together
We have a loving and sentimental bond
Nothing but sweetness and tenderness
Together, our hearts beat as one
With magic and wonder in the air
We light the fire through the night
We both feel nothing but a gentle breeze
As time passes on underneath the moonlight

So many people are living lives that they're not in love with, && I've just never quite understood that.

How much exactly
did it cost to sell your soul?
At what point did you decide,
"this is now my life until I'm old"

The truth is we're all invincible,
until the day we're not
We've got to live our lives to the fullest,
for it's only one that we've got

To go about our days,
meandering in the mundane
Is surefire the best way,
to drive ourselves insane

We're meant to be free thinkers;
artists, writers, && musicians
Making the world a better place
should be our only aim && mission

Be kind to one another
We're all in this together
It's funny how the things that divide us
Are also the same ones that tether

Us to this forsaken planet
Feeling like we're broken
When at any given moment
Kind words can be spoken

Falling from our lips
&& lifting others' hearts
We all have the capacity to make a difference
It's just a matter of choosing to start
Today a friend of mine said to me "We are all invincible, 'til we die." This poem was inspired by that statement.

Oh! Kiss me in the morning
as I hunger just for you
Whisper all those things
that let me know
your heart is true
Poem for all who were madly love their beloved

you're my reason
you're my will
felling demons
so we may build
our little Eden
gives me chills
love love's freedom
love the thrill

HANDMADE CHRISTMAS

Do you remember back when
Christmas was making things
Out of stiff colored paper
Like chains of slim paper rings
That were so long we took them
And wrapped the a few times
Around the tree as pretty trim?

We made angels and snowflakes
From something called shirt boards;
Cutouts covered with aluminum foil.
They didn’t need extension cords.
And Mom showed us how to starch
String we dyed. We wrapped it
Around some inflated balloons.
When each dried, we popped it.

We made reindeers and Santas
Our of wooden clothespins
With pipe cleaner antlers or
Cotton beards for Santa’s chin.
Mom dyed an old sheet green
For under the Christmas tree.
Prettier than the store-bought kind
It has always seemed to me.

In school we made Gifts too
Things knitted or made of clay
To give to Mom wrapped up
With great pride on Christmas Day.
And that wrapping paper was
Was all Christmas color tissue.
It was inexpensive to buy, so
Using a lot was not an issue.

Some gifts were appreciated
Some maybe not as much
But in every case, we were
For the most part very touched.
You knew for sure just by looking
What care and love went into
The handmade presents that were
Made totally and especially for you.

Girl, with every tender loving kiss
We both take each other's breath away
Loads of fun into the night
Together underneath the moonlight
Such a pure heavenly bliss
As we sit together by the bay
We treasure each other deeply
And love one another completely

Death will never stop
The love between you and I
For the feelings that we share
Are strong enough to withstand
the hands of time

All my life
I've searched for you
Searched for someone who
Would always love me
Always treat me the way I wanted
You are more than I'd ever dreamed
You are everything to me

Death could never
Break apart this bond that we hold
We're joined at the hip
We are of one accord
Mind
Heart
Body
Soul
You are the one
Who I've been thirsting for

Follow me to death
And you shall see
I was waiting for you
And you were waiting for me
