Thunderbolts clapped
Lightning flashed
Head pressed against the window
The time to soon arrive

Gold spikes
Illuminated
Under the painted night sky
My body shivering
Embodied in the uncomfortable cold
The time to soon arrive

Loud crash echoed
The floor slightly shaking
My heart beating ravenously
My eyelids fluttering closed
The time to soon arrive

Lightning
Following a bang of thunder
Sweat dripping from my forehead
The time soon to arrive

A huge explosion
Causing orange flames
to crawl up the side of the house
Frightened
I fell back to the floor
CRASH-

The time not soon to end.

Everything silent with nothing in sight
Then suddenly there is a flash of light

For couple seconds there is no sound
And a loud Boom! Comes as if from all around.

The Storm is not yet here
For now we have nothing to fear

But soon the storm will be upon us. Then the winds will begin and a great fuss.

Soon will the lightning and thunder be as one.
Soon will the Storm begin it's fun

But for now I just sit at the window as the first raindrops drop
For there I will admire the Storm from beginning to stop.

He was a thunderstorm
She loved the rain
He was a dragon
She danced in his flames

He was her master
Her chains forged in fire
He was her love
Her one true desire

Darkness comes and clouds roll in
and thus a thunderstorm begins.
Suddenly there is a flash,
a booming jolt and then a clash.
From the evil, looming clouds
raindrops fall, smacking loud.
The big, bad storm causes quite the fuss;
children scream and parents cuss.
The TV screens have all gone black
and people find it's light they lack.

Storm erupted

Another evening, peaceful at midnight
Stillness, rest, no interruption or light
People asleep, nothing to intervene
Soon turns to very different scene

A long faint shard Illuminates evening
No noise, brief white flash seething
Early morning, faint breeze stirs
The hint, noise, distant verve

Leaves faint skitter on the back patio
Sounds harbinger of a dark shadow
Light interrupts the dark frequently
A momentum gathers relentlessly

Breeze gathering in resolve, gale force
Its gusting, with a devilish resource
Trees thrown, branches thrashing
Light, noise together crashing

A vast crescendo of drums, rumbling
Bass, deeper peels, when tumbling
Booms accompanies the lightning
A sudden purple flash frightening

Bang, an enormous sudden explosion
House shaking, feel the commotion
In a violent instant felt threatened
Forceful, it's power deafened

In its angry wake is trail of damage
Houses and trees, impact savage
Electricity out, effect felt in days
Neighbourhood reacts in daze

Meanwhile the storm trails to the east
On distant houses, troubles sweep
Now to faint as rolling forwards
Huge force rumbles onwards

The noise, memory before morning
Damage counted as day dawning
A peaceful weekend interrupted
Night the violent storm erupted

I am taking on this voyage with nothing but a pen and paper.

I sail your oceans, watching you drown the sun.

I stare to your stars above me, your explosions do not reach me.

She's a thunderstorm and I find shipwrecks beautiful.

She's a thunderstorm and I am dancing upon the clashing waves.

I am taking on this voyage, I have grown tired of running on quicksand.

I am taking on this voyage without an anchor.

I'm taking on this voyage and I know one day I'll find myself washed up on shore.

my stomach sinks to my feet
whenever i think about you leaving me
and my mind is occupied
with the same haunting thoughts
of needing you to stay

i think of you as a thunderstorm
but i'd rather drown in your rage
than be forced to live without it

our fragile hearts are tied together
with a string of pinky promises
and when you finally leave me,
the best part of me will leave too
Dust flowers up from the Chilton County dusk
Rust is flaking off the pickup that has a skunk musk

Bullet , the blue tick hound from your sleeve pulls it
Could it be another hot day in August , would it ?

Peaches have last month gone to fill the niches
Beaches at the river are low , full of leeches

Summertime in Alabama is a long ******
Funnier than that song , swing low number

Gathering distant dark blue clouds that are a mattering
Battering thunder rolling , lightning shattering

Huge drops splattering on clay so Rouge
Deluge now soaking , coming down like a luge

Passing with one loud Crack blasting
Massing clouds now are just in a fasting
