Other people wish for sun
For cloudless days filled with fun
I, instead, wish for rain
In hopes that it will take my pain
The rain, it seems, has magic powers
That transfer down in peaceful showers
It fills me up, I overflow
It sees I'm full and then it goes
Where it goes I do not know
But this I know: that it will show
Sometime when I am close to death
And in my pain it gives me breath

A glimpse of you
in the shadow of light,
muddy soaked up leaves
becoming the road's delight.

The softened soil
reminds your touch,
your slow grip
soothing as such.

In the surrounding mist
my eyes search for you,
the heart beats love
dreaming of us
warm in this rain...
painting a lovely view.

The clouds bring to me
your love from far away,
all I feel and see,
your presence near me
.

showers set the tune,
torrents drum on the high roof;
cloud burst change the tack.

She was wet, elated by the
feeling pouring over her..

But then, It went cold..
momentarily losing it...

Then as before a warmth
flooded over her..

She smiled as lathered up
were her moments.

Then relaxation...

The shower was over..
         Shouting down stairs!!

*"Don't flush while I'm in here..

how can a month paint my eyes
and turn my tears into a fountain of numb feeling?
yet i can still see this world
through the
layers
you spread with your fingers.
i can't find myself
in these april
showers.
it shows, oh it shows
breaking again; i guess it'll never go away

I started wondering when the grey skies above
would stop pouring down
and the clouds would float away
to reveal a bright blue sky

Then I remembered the saying
as cheesy as it may be
April showers
bring May flowers

And that is my hope
maybe our love needed some rain
so it could blossom
in beautiful colors

So until these clouds pass
I will try to dance in the rain
with the hopes of spring
brightening my view

When I reach h o m e
I will shower
To wash away my s i n s
I will wash away the g r i m
I will wash away my t r i g g e r s
My temporary s a v a g e n e s s

As I walk out and wrap myself in a towel
A softsoftsoft luxury I haven't had in so long
I will b r e a t h e

In . Out

Inhale . Exhale

My shoulders will become l i g h t e r
My walk s u r e r
My hands c l e a n e r

*I will become civilized again.
