I love when we walk to the park to get fresh air.
The sight of seeing multiple colors in the sky, during this sunset, makes your skin bright up.
We lay in the grass under a tree on your favorite blanket
Watching the sun sleep as the mood awaken.
As we enjoy each other’s company
You ask one simple question:
“what do you see in me?”
In that moment, if you stared into her eyes like I did, you can see through the window to her soul.
A Queen with benefits.
Her mind has creativity as she layout a blueprint of beauty.
A Mother who can carry all 4 of my children.
(Xavier jr., my first, maya is second, xiomara is next, & Dwayne my last)
Search deeper & the heart is made of gold
Protected under the laws of God himself.
Smiles of grace
Confidence through bravery
Never afraid of the inevitable.
Yet, she’s all I ever wanted.
Give me all of you in exchange for me because I want you around.

So what did I see in her?
Well.... I told her,
“My life”

Nightfall covers the world as we’re sitting together.
I feel your warm hand touch mines, smiling at me.
So I smile back, leaning closer towards you.
And for the first time-I close my eyes & begin to taste your pure natural flavor.
This simple kiss is a sentimental connection, sharing this endless moment.
Feeling the sensation of your lips across mine causes my nerves to spark.
Chasing down this liquid lighting, activating each other’s tastebuds-one by one.
Heavy breathing, heart racing
Inhale-Exhale...
Only to reopen our eyes, gaze at your face, & embrace this passionate moment.

You flew through me as I feel you coast on my skin
Letting the hairs on my arm stand as you send excitement through my body.
We touch
One body to another
Lips introduced
A tasteful kiss
Causing an immense impact
Feeling the connection
Collecting samples
Of one’s directions
Nerves activated
Excitement giving me goosebumps

Lay your head on my chest & rest.
In one ear
Hear the waves of my heart beating faster for you.
In the other ear
Listen to the elements of sound all around us singing.
Crickets are chirping
R&B music is bumping
All of this energy flows through a melody,
As our definitive love grows together through faith & clarity.

Rubbing your shoulders
While stroking your curly hair,
Your cherry kiwi scent
has me walking on thin air.
I softly push up against you,
The sweet melanin skin
Letting you feel me as I feel you
As a chuckle comes out and I begin to grin.
Happy to be your Companion
My life, my half, my best friend.
Because love tonight has been delightful
I don’t want this to end

I have been in places worse
Where I could not see the light
It was different I swear
Than how I feel tonight
This is not pain in my smile
It is something I can't name
Every time I sigh I know
I am the one to blame
Another oldie

To see a whole new world open up within one’s mind,
to make something out of nothing of an unlikely kind,
to go to another place that we’ve never been to before,
to realise our Self is what life’s really about and more.

Inspired by a poem written by William Blake, From "The Quatrains" ongoing writings since the early '90's
I see you in music
notes are steps
closer to you
press play and
we never pause
"music" and "you" can be read as the first words of the next line

Air keeps scampering away
and i'm chasing after it
Running in circles
Around you
Still you don't see me

Im screaming
Thrashing
Begging
But still you don't see me

I'm on my knees
Tugging at my hair
Bloodied fingers
Scratching my skin
But still you don't see me

I've given up
Air escapes me
The light is fading
The back of your head
The last thing I see
