Drowning no more, saved by a man
Captured my heart and repaired it once again
Took me in, told me tales.
Saved my heart once again

The wolf came upon us all
to devour the wicked and the weak
he would stare into your eyes
if he sensed you were good and true
he would walk away
leave you and yours
to live another day
So when the wolf came near
I chose to stand
next to you

I held the Stanley knife to
                          my wrist..

Holding on to the grip,
              trying to warm the

cold metal...

I was there for the whole of my
                                                 life..

But the blade was never within it..

I just needed to know that
                    I was strong
                            enough to not make the

mistake of giving in.

And this was a reminder,
                as the first time the metal was cold..

And the blood warm.

                   Now I  remind myself that
even though I hold a blunt instrument
                          its a reminder that given time
everything cuts...

I once felt lost in this world
Like a raindrop in an ocean
For long I had the notion
That life in general was a lost cause

But one day I realized
I'm the apple of my Father's eyes
Purchased with the Holiest price
Worthiness and hope restored in my heart

I'm drenched in His love
My vision flooded with His light
Fully aware that this life is not mine
Mission I'm on, to someday return home

It’s hard to imagine that by being yourself
You could save someone’s life
You don’t have to imagine
Because you’ve done it so many times
I know now you can’t understand
But when your older I will take your hand
Look you in the eyes
And tell you because of you
I am alive
Thoughts in flames, soar high
PASS the Extinguisher words
Art under control
Thoughts from times,  when life is busy and writing takes a backseat :))

PASS- Pull Aim Squeeze Sweep, words

Follow the path, that I’ve set out to claim.
So many things, that I could never dream.
Don’t leave me standing, out here in the rain;
Where it spirals down, in cracks and in seams.

Once upon a time, in a far far land;
I read a story, one of make believe.
Where dragons would soar, so noble and grand;
And knights on horses, wore hearts on their sleeve.

The princess would wait, and hope for the day;
Where her dearest, would take her heart and strum.
And when she is free, she would gladly say;
Praise my savior, O’ I knew he would come!

And as this adventure, comes to a close,
She will awaken, and sing out her throes
