Is it not a paradox that her deception should leave her beauty so unmarked? Her winsome countenance - generously admired - leaves her suitors abject; mere puppets on a string.

Verily, the essence of her is as a tarnished trinket. For to mine own soul she appears as jaded as a ***** house quean. Her eyes which once shone with the light of truth unblemished, a colourless and infinite mire overgrown with the entangled falsehoods she has seeded.

‘Deceiving others. That is what the world called a romance.’
- Oscar Wilde

‘And we all know love is a glass which makes even a monster appear fascinating.’
- Alberto Moravia, The Woman of Rome

Throbbing little mosquito
Sipping on some wild doe
Going with the wind's flow

Buzzing ominous lullabies
About the blood queen's paradise
Flying to the land where they'll rise

She'll nurture them with all her love
Deep inside a dark cove
Until the buzzing
Stops.

Close my eyes and I can see yours again
Let myself get lost in the distant memory
The song plays through my head
And it's like watching a movie through my own eyes
Because I know it's not real

And I remember how I pressed my head against your chest
How soft your lips felt on my cheek
And how my heart shuddered when you whispered that you loved me
I never wanted it to end

And I'll never forget how soft that dress was
Or the respect I commanded dressed in blood with crown in hand
I wont forget the glittering lights
Or the warm air that night accompanied by the soft breeze

But most of all I wont forget you
Your smile your laugh
Your pocket square with four prongs
I can't forget your dancing
Your sweeping me off my feet

And how could I
You made me feel like a queen for just one night
And as wonderful as it all was
All I really needed that night was you
Although this is something I hope to never forget, it haunts me.
There once was a young girl
Who loved to bake.
She was a dreamer
And a believer.
But she was the daughter of a noble
And became engaged to a foolish king.
And then, she met him.
Mysterious
Surprising
Dashing
Handsome
The joker from lands far off.
With a knack for magic
And baker girls.
They fell into a forbidden love.
Just as they were to run away together
He was killed.
It was quick
Fast
Clean
And right in front of her.
She fell into a state of rage and unfeeling.
Her first order upon becoming queen
Was to execute the killer.
“Off with his head.”
And she became
The
Queen
Of
Hearts.
A monster.
A destroyer.
A villian.

Not all fairy tales
Have happy endings.
Based off the book "Heartless" by Marissa Meyer. I just finished it, and I was not happy with that ending.

Taiba wears her coats like a queen
The room warms up when she enters
She drops laughter like glitter behind her
When she eats chips, I expect they feel honoured
By the way, for you people from other lands, that's British chips. Big fat greasy fried pieces of potato. It's important that you understand.

Be ourselves

I would be
             ~myself~
for you

Show you a me

because no one was looking

Loyal and

But you would have
                      to take the bad

Selfish and proud

Quiet and LOUD

Immature

But believe me
When I say
I would try my BEST

Dear My Future Love,
Just waiting. Will you look for me?

I observe, a beautiful girl,
Piano kicks up,
And it sounds like twinkling stars.
She sings about being broken,
A prisoner in her own home.
Trust me…
I know what it’s like, to be all alone.

And I’m not one to get hyped over nothing,
But the fact we’re so similar,
Might just mean something.
So give me a chance to surprise you,
Mighty Queen,
I'll be your worker, if you work with me.

I can be different,
Isn’t every guy one of a kind?
But I’m not very special, hell, i don't even fly.
But give me, maybe, five seconds, and spare me a glance
And I’ll make us disappear,
Even ask for this dance.
And we can waltz through winter,
Jump through june,
Disappear back in april,
And you end up right back in your room.

Then i could reveal my magic trick,
And maybe we'd kiss.
But since this is all,
A shot in the dark,
Maybe I’d miss.
And maybe I’d get the, “Let’s just be friends…”
Maybe I should shut up.
