Dancing in the moonlights shadows
A beaming light, O so narrow

Following the glimpse of light
Hearing laughter of the utmost delight

A glance through the little door
Two  youngins lying on the floor

Chatting about the brightest things
On I go as midnight rings

Now excited about what tomorrow brings

Time to step out of my dark room
Now I dance in the light of the moon
Feeling strong for a bright future.
Summer Jun 2019
I unlocked the door to the other world
I swallowed the key for a few hours then I projected it back up into my hand
Back into the muted land
I miss all the colors and all the sounds
Everything was better
So much more clearer and the world felt less round
The trees were glowing with breathtaking sound
It was still so scary and eerie and made me feel dreary but not as dreary as here
I need to find the key again
The key to my sanity
The key to my invisibility
The key to my mind where I could see all the stars align
Everything was melting and flying
My mind was at peace for such a short time
I do not want to be HERE I would rather die than to not live in that sound mind
My key... I will find the.

In times of poor and plenty,
I shall love sans dolenti
That smile across your face
That sends me out in space.
Connubial bliss will be
Like moonglow on the sea,
When you are by my side,
In amourous hearts abide.

Take comfort,
We are favored
By heaven
And by nature.

Love has come to you, and
Love has come to me.
I see your pulchritude.
It shines from inside of you.

In times of poor and plenty,
I shall love sans dolenti
That smile across your face
That sends me out in space.
Connubial bliss will be
Like moonglow on the sea,
When you are by my side,
In amourous hearts abide.

Your fragrant
Flowing hair
Like wheat
Upon the air...

You are a gift to me,
A cosmic mystery,
Enigmatic.
I take thee.

In times of poor and plenty,
I shall love sans dolenti
That smile across your face
That sends me out in space.
Connubial bliss will be
Like moonglow out at sea,
When you are by my side,
In amourous hearts abide.

Our sigual links unyeilding bond.
You are the only one
I'd ever give my love.
You're the one that makes me happy,
Sappy like a heavy bow.

I shouldn't be without you.
I'll never have a doubt about you;
And now I know your mine.
I'm yours completely, love is fine.

In times of poor and plenty,
I shall love sans dolenti
That smile across your face
That sends me out in space.
Connubial bliss will be
Like moonglow on the sea,
When you are by my side,
In amourous hearts abide
I just felt like scribing a wedding song. I do my most prolific writing in early morning. This was completeled in one drafting.

You are so beautiful.
Like no one else
in this world so orginal.
Your face in this space.
So much love to embrace.
Your thoughts in your mind.
Are exclusive and one of a kind.
The love you feel inside.
Makes rain and sun collide.
See colors full of light.
All your inperfections.
Could be some
one else's attraction.

Stiletto heels and a push-up bra,
Hair piled high, bleached and toned and all…
That’s the way you used to shuffle around,
But you ain’t been much since your man went to town.

Who’s that a’ worrin’ bout them wrinkles and lines?
Is that the same broad who fell for all his lines?
Well, since he left you all you do is frown.
No, you ain’t done much since your man went to town.

You could’a picked a man who would’a cherished you
Once upon a time when love was fresh and new,
But you picked the one who was known all around.
Now,  you ain’t known much since your man went to town.

(Interlude)

You could’a picked a man who would’a cherished you
Once upon a time when love was fresh and new,
But you picked the one who was known all around.
Now, you ain’t been much since your man went to town.

What’cha gotta to do to make it right
Is take your piece out of your purse, it’s a Saturday night.
What’cha gotta do is shoot him down,
‘Cause you cry too much since your man went to town.

(I'm still tweaking the arrangement. It should have an upbeat Little Richard or Ray Charles rock-n-roll mid-upbeat tempo with possibly hand claps on the downbeat like a spiritual chorus... since most early rock and r&b; musicians got their starts in small black southern Baptist churches. Let me know what you think. If it *****, tell me.

I can't talk just now.
I'm Trending!
Couldn't you just DIE!
A-A-A-AH!
I don't know when I have ever felt this good!

(Is this what it feels like to be loved?)
This piece explains itself pretty well. It is brief. My notes should be. It is new, original, and exclusive to hellopoetry.com.

we want to escape
this cold, cruel world
and all that lies within;

the fears, the judging
the hearts we cannot mend.

but how, we ask, how?
how do we get this peace?
and the closest thing to escaping it seems,
is sleep.
