Pumpkin spice
A sip of water, cold as ice

dying flowers, children’s yells
falling of the leaves-a simple
autumn magic spell

Apple fallen in the grass
kisses from a distant love,
winter fire is about to pass

Warming embers of the fallen leave,
Ringing of an autumn bell
eager is the eye to see...

Echo of a string,
give you ears? An angel
                          is about to sing...

Bleeding November
Cannot remember
What happened
Hands blackened
By October paint
Then I faint
For it remembers not why

Still, it is shy
A small, weakened cry
Bursting into the night
O what a fright
Taking grand flight

Interesting confusion
A mild intrusion
Seeping into the mind
Creeping up behind

Then

Boo!
Shoo,
Foul beast!
Let us feast,
In peace!

Read through my face
All the signs
Gripped you again to demise
Fly till you crash
For only you can see those lights

Giving away all the crowns
Creepy night
Glitter free
Crystal clean
On the roof
The birds
Singing lullabies
The ***** ones
Once again

We were just two strangers,
Who once took a leap over November.
It was bittersweet and sometimes I wonder;

Too sleepy to even finish this poem.. zzz
Early morning fog
Winter smiles through the curtains
Dew on the flowers
The mornings are most pleasant around this time!
Finally winter smiles :))

Thank you so much, RK( Rita)
For the sunshine for my simple thoughts here :)

Pale eyes
the Colour of November
Always shut
to the World around her

peering out of my bedroom window,
i observe the golden autumn leaves
as they tumble through the air.
i watch in awe
as the wind licks them
from the honey coated trees,
and they gracefully settle into the grass.
in this moment of bliss,
i wonder how they are so unafraid to fall.
i should be at school right now, but today i couldn’t get out of bed. i stayed home and sat in my bedroom with my dog and watched the leaves fall. it’s a really pretty day, i’m glad i’m not sitting at a desk.

Very high
I'm falling from the sky
Try to memorise
The time I was hypnotised by your eyes
It was November
Your eyes were wide
Like spaceships or the moon in the pale midnight
Side by side
Silently & comfortably
No anxiety's or worries
I felt alive but that feeling was only for the night
Smoke after smoke
Line after line
My heart & mind were open
But now they are left in confusion
As I crash down from the sky
No parachute or net in site
I smile then close my eyes
Preparing & ready to die
With only U on my mind

Walking home from my friend’s house after making music and making faces and his roommate’s ex-girlfriend was in the kitchen, her back to mine across the living room and I closed the door.
I walked the eight blocks to my house.
To the left
To the right
I thought of you but only a little bit.
I laughed when I slid on the ice on Summer Street and I inhaled deep to relish in the lack of sun, and for the first time, I listened that night in November
with her cold and slender hands over both of my ears.
