Nov 2019
peering out of my bedroom window,
i observe the golden autumn leaves
as they tumble through the air.
i watch in awe
as the wind licks them
from the honey coated trees,
and they gracefully settle into the grass.
in this moment of bliss,
i wonder how they are so unafraid to fall.
i should be at school right now, but today i couldn’t get out of bed. i stayed home and sat in my bedroom with my dog and watched the leaves fall. it’s a really pretty day, i’m glad i’m not sitting at a desk.
