Vale Luna Jan 2018
I think the Moon knows
I'm watching Her
Because sometimes,
                           She leaves me presents
It may sound silly
But I've got a jar full of Her secrets
That I keep in a lockbox under my bed
The pass code; Luna
So I'll praise Her title
Each time I uncover
The hidden gifts She's given to me

Purified droplets of moonlight.

The size of a jewel
The weight of a diamond
The glow of an angel
The shine of a star

The Moon probably knows
I'm watching Her
Because sometimes,
                            I find a drop
In the bud of a flower
Sometimes,
in the pit of a well
Sometimes,
in the cave of an animal
Sometimes,
in the crack of a rock
Sometimes,
in the hollow of a tree
Sometimes,
in the current of a stream
And on the rarest of occasions
I'll find Her lodged between the pages
Of my notebook

I've collected a dreams worth of gems now
So whenever I find myself,
                                       Lost.
- Swallowed by the void -
I'll have enough moonlight in my jar
To ignite the darkest of days
And the presence
                             of Her presents
Will go unnoticed by no shadow
Or creature of the night.

Luna knows I'm watching Her.

I'll continue to gaze from below
And let no stone go unturned
So when the Moon drips again
I'll be there to catch Her
Another crystallized droplet of a blessing
To tuck away
In the box under my bed.

Light softly dimming
From bright rays to gentle brush
The night has come
A haiku

many would say
you are their sunshine.
the one who lights up their world
and brings them joy.

to me,
you are more than the sun
but rather the moon,
you are my moon.

bringing the essence of light
to the hours of my life
when the world is otherwise
dark.

the glowing light
you radiate
is just enough
to guide me through the night.

Digging in the garden looking for peace of mind, peace in my heart.
A heavy day from seemingly nowhere.
The morning was bumpy; sticky with issues.
The afternoon brought me outside.
I reach for the sun, feeling the leafs of plants and the cooling air.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring.
Stay in today and don't let it go too fast; slippery in my grasp.
The day is almost done.
Night has fallen on this early winter day.
Luna welcomes us all to see the stars, feel comfort in her brilliance,  love nature and step outside for one moment in eternity.
I wrote this because I felt so out of sorts today. When I saw la luna, I felt  a sense of calm. That often happens when night falls because I know a new day is approaching.

The sun is long gone, leaving tracks of hazy promise of return
Perhaps a jettison, I am, that of which I am to spurn
With sprinkles of stardust and dimming moonbeam, I yearned
nothing but a light to hold on to, even the palest will do

Yet the ever so generous God gave me not the palest
For a beacon of wonder I can hardly believe exists
did come over my orbit, a sojourn I expect the least
And a bond is made between the two

The light that overwhelms me and the stars that surround
forever I am caught up glimmering in astound,
making me want to find more than what I found--
those little pieces that makes you, you
The moon is in love with the comet, not with her sun.

Hey moon?
I am so sorry for you
I know you mean well
But I can't stand to look at you
You symbolize Lonelyness
You make me sad
Why do you have to be so sad?
You rise and fall
You wait for your fire love
And you can't face eachother
Why don't you give up ?
Hey moon ?
Can you teach me how to be as strong as you ?
Teach me how to be okay with being lonely
Teach me how to be Okay with never being with my fire love
Teach me how to be okay.
You make it look so easy moon.
Hey moon?
Does it get annoying when you have asteroids that keep hitting you ?
Does it get annoying when people try to understand you?
Moon, Can You Hear Me?
You are lonely but you shine bright
Are you really lonely?
I get it Moon.
Just because You can't see or be with your fire love
You know that with every orbit
You can rotate around the world
And show strength to people like me
Who try to talk to a Block of Rock from the atmosphere
You aren't lonely.
Ha ! I get it now moon
You've been fooling it
You Moon don't symbolize sadness
You show strength
So I thank you moon
For showing a person like me
With false hope
Something to look at every night
So hey moon?
Are you okay?
You may not get this question often
But I'm not of many
So I ask you this
If one day you can finally be with your fire love
Would you really be happy?
Like come on
You get the thing you want most
But does it make you happy that you don't have to fight anymore ?
Moon I just don't get it
Why do what you do
If you never get what you want?
So maybe it's more than just looking for love
Maybe it's looking for a friend
I have yet to believe that your lonely,
I still can't believe it
I refuse to
. Why you ask
Because you after all these years seem fine
I mean everyone can fake happiness
But you've done it for many years
Tell me how to do it.

Devoured by the warm, doted kiss
of the lucent moon, offering bliss
I embraced her glow, sensing peace
as the night breeze howls, hauling mist

We shared the night together, side by side
the moon and I forever, with her I may reside
amidst the multitude of stars to guide
She shine brightly, begetting ocean tide

Yet every beauteaous thing has an ending
I thought, as we wait the sun to start beaming
The sunrise peek on the horizon, gleaming
and I part with serene, mutedly mourning

Let me start by saying goodbye.

As to every moment you draw
near me, a sporadic mystical
event, left me in overawe of
you and your conflagrant hue
as you trail across me, I see
how glorious you ought to be;
how a great voyage you are on
and how I am of other kind, not
of your own; how we were never
to collide, nor a glimpse of me
in your memory 'twas never to
provide a hunch of who I am
Perhaps, this is how it should be
For a moon has her sun
and a comet has his journey
And the moon is to eclipse with her sun
and the comet has to go with his journey
Thus, I shall cut this heartstring,
and swim out of this drowning
sea of dreams and delusions
and breath the reality back in
Yet I will forever and always be,
an admirer of your beauty; and
maybe, in another time, you
might catch a glimpse of me
covered in blanket of darkness,
accompanied by myriad stars,
You will see me, I know you will
But you will never recognize me
for and with my eternal mediocrity

And I will end by saying hello.
