She's like an angel in disguise

Her eyes are like the skies

And they are cold as an ice

That can cut, slice and dice

I can stare them for an hour

No I think even for a long season

It's amazing how powerful they're

That even the whole galaxy was imprisoned

Even the goddesses fear to try

Cause even medusa can't keep a stare

But guess what even I die I don't care

Because it's sounds fair

I'll keep a stare

Even no one dares

somehow—
the glint of the moon
on the crystals that dangled,
turned the fog
to fireworks.
it’s chilly and snowy here

pieces of me leave their marks in the snow
hot and wet as they slip from cracks in my soul
did you know that rain is just ice that burnt in the sky
all this winter stardust was lucky to survive
do you know

why my body is freezing and flaming at once
lord please silence the beat of the drum
that hiccups inside me and sets fire to my lungs
your fingertips drift like summertime hummingbirds
youre stood before me, yet gone
why do i yearn
i wrote poems using inktober prompts. here's my favorite parts from day 11: snow

i ask you:

as you stood before the mountain peaks
do you remember its name
do you remember the bite of the frost
on the fingers you dont have anymore?
do you remember the cold and how it clouded
the vision youve gone so long without?

"when submerged in darkness,"
you say
"one grasps at the light-
no matter how deeply it stings,
for it is something, anything-
in a world of nothing, nothing,
nothing"

your silhouette falters, you shake until your shape is unrecognizable

though i test your limits with the pain of postcards, like scalpels in your side

i must admit: i am sorry.
nobody tell jackie that this is about the dnd campaign im writing. she will deduce the plot before the first session

Wind whips me
Sharp blades against my skin
Maybe I'm a *******
I don't mind
This icy thrill

Cold air
Sleek against my lungs
Filling me up
With a frost
I can't get enough of
Yes, there are innuendos. No, that is not an invitation for creepy or ****** comments. If you leave something weird, I'll block you.

Hundred miles of country road,
Wind blew gently and it snowed,
Icy mountains here we stay,
Whisper softly all the day,

Playing pebbles at the noon,
Tracing patterns on the moon,
Forming shadows from the ray,
Singing loudly if we may,

Rhythm echoed down the lane,
Ripples dripping down the stain,
Starry skies we count array,
Dozing off to sleep away

Your words glide
Over my
Heart like a
Skater skates
On ice lakes.

Slowly you
Wear me down;
Carve your words
Onto my
Heart with blades.

One time you
Will cut through
And fall in
Through the crack
That you made.

You will try
To climb out,
But you are
Stuck in the
Void with me.

Now you'll know
Just the harm
That a few
Words can cause.
Can't you tell?

.
I have been searching for you
in the centuries
In lost dreams
In icy seas
Tracks covered in snow
And you are no more
Everyone ‘s undone
Winds! Turn me to ice
A monument of ice
To be awakened
By soft rays of light
Once a heart is thawed
It will beat for you
Memories I lost
Turn my blood to frost
Tear droplet so young
On snow covered ground
I shine from afar
But no one awaits
To lessen my pain
That is neverending
Winds! Turn me to ice
A monument of ice
To be awakened
By soft rays of light
Once a heart defrosts
It will beat for you
Sun will disembogue
Like honey that’s thawed.

Amber fire cooled
Smooth over water hardened
To soften the burn.

so many trickling drops
running down icicles,
sky matching the startling blue
i see in your eyes.

when the horizon
blends into the snow
and the trees slice through it
like lightning bolts,

snow will be warm in my touch
melting still,
on my bare fingertips
exposed to the elements.

i stumble through the dense woods,
leaving the clearing
to be shaded in and sheltered
by the forest’s river

dead silent.
i look around again,
just the icy expanse of startling blue
i see in your eyes.

you kiss me while we stand
waist deep in the river
and melt away downstream,
like the snow i thought... we thought

we weren’t
icy vibe
