Who thinks they are perfect
Have one major defect;
Assuming one can be,
Themselves especially!

Dreamlike,
Everytime I wake up,
I can't believe that you're here and that you know it

Dreamlike,
Everytime I wake up fast,
to check if everything is like yesterday
or if it was just a dream

Dreamlike,
it's wonderful to live like this,
to fly in a dream that exists,
down the street from an existing Neverland

Dreamlike,
when all hatred melts thanks to you,
when walls of separation crumble,
because the heat that you put in my heart warmed them

Dreamlike,
To escape from prison and to run in a green land of freedom
and this is part of reality

Dreamlike

Aah! look at your Majestic Mind,
The source of your Pride,
The concierge of your Dreams,
Your Mistress since Childhood;

Lo! see its Beauty in Naked,
In all the Material,
In all the Moral,
Yes!!! that's your Marker as a Human;

Bravo!!! of the pure genius in you,
You finally made out your identity,
creating a marker of self;
from the Oozy ****** miracle;

Alas, little did you comprehend,
the Irony underlying all of this,
For the judgement comes from the Ugly ooze,
with the verdict Never to underestimate Humanity's stupidity;

I want Your strength
Not my strength
I want Your wisdom
Not my wisdom
I want Your patience
Not my patience
I want Your grace
Not my grace
I want Your humility
Not my humitility
I want Your love
Not my love
I want Your Spirit
Not my spirit
This is one of my favorite prayers
You may walk in the same storm with another, Under the same sky feeling the same rain but that doesn't mean you've endured their pain.

Before you assume that you're above them, Consider the lightening when it does strike...
that it doesn't consider one's mere stature or height.

True. It's a hard long fall of that high horse you may be riding. Circumstances change all the time. Don't be so quite to judge.

Humility
raining down on me
cleansing my humble soul
writing truth
speaking
painful to some
absolute freedom
soaring bird
joyous faces
perplexed
scaredy-cat
unsure
walk in that direction
liberate your mind
release vitality and vigor
protecting dreams
silly boy
or
silly girl
walk that wire
between
confidence
courage
thwarting negativity
finding your
sweet spot
Strongly rooted yet flexible,
the higher it grows, the deeper it bows.

Bend but don’t break.
Keep calm and free yourself to sway.

Gently dance in the rhythm of the winds
and firmly stand to the ground.

Be a bamboo that stoops, but strong.

It's at the point of desperation that the soul finds its deepest desire,
and in that desire lies everything of which true life is made.
Perhaps the first and central question concerning surrender
ought not to be, “What am I willing to give to God?”
but “What am I willing to receive from Him?”

For it's only in the realization that I have nothing to give Him and
He has everything to give me that true humility and surrender come.
If I would simply receive all He offers me and let Him fill me up
I would have no room in my hands to hold onto anything else.
But how often it is that we won't receive it until everything else is lost.

It's the secret and inexpressible dreams of the soul
which are the hardest things of all to let go and the last to go.
When they are finally gone we have nothing left to run to but Him,
and when we do we find that He is the beginning,
the end and the center of every secret dream.

Ah, blessed Peniel—that mysterious and holy ground
where heartache collides head-on with romance,
that deep and shadowed land where we struggle
with God and with men and we overcome,
that painful yet glorious place which we may leave limping
with a wrenched hip but we do not care, for we have seen God’s face—
like Jacob, may we not pass you by without being forever changed.

your gratuity
is not sincere
if it is balanced as a pendulum.
the anticipation of return
counteracts
the authenticity
of generosity.

it is acceptance that brings humility-
acceptance that a gift
is not equal
to inherent necessity for reward.
you cannot define "gracious"
while using the words
"owed"
or
"deserved."

allow every inch of your heart
to be a gift.
to be opened
received
and valued
for it is not in balance
that we show love-
but in the counterbalanced abnormality
of sharing.
