I am actually slowly drifting away
Wave after wave after wave
Slowly drifting
I really feel that I am drowning
I just need you to hold my hand

Sometimes I just need to go with the waves
Let the waves bring me to a place where I deserve
Maybe hoping again is never a mistake
It maybe a start of something beautiful
Undefined it may seem

The warmth of the sand brings calmness
The sound of the waves gives music
The cold air brings strength
The ocean seems inviting
Its beauty leads to peace
Sweet cherry blossoms
Are drowning in your eyes;
Drifting out to Sea
Another haiku for my love

Shifting tides, unyielding waves.
Fragile lungs gasping breaths.
Frantic movements, intrusive thoughts.
Tired soul giving up.

Fierce current, aberrant undertow.
Sinking below the heart explodes.
Floating body, drifting mind.
Left for no one to find.

They think I'm rich
They think I'm wealthy
They think I'm a saint
That I'm healthy
They think that they know
What it means to be me
Oh no
No they don't understand me
Not at all

They think I'm lost
They think I'm drifting
They think I've no cause
That I'm sinking
They think that they can see
What it means to be me
But they can't even see me
Oh no
No they don't understand me
Not at all
Not at all

The small dinghy drifts
on the surface of the sea
its grayed gunnels, hull
and vacant crossbars
betray its age
but its persistent float
speaks its worth.

Without a bold goal
its life at the mercy of currents and winds
it drifts
but still it floats.

It would be easy to feel pity
for this tiny rudderless vessel
to condemn it to the depths
for its aimless oblivious
drift.

But this modest creation
a dinky dinghy
still floats
rises, falls, bobs,
and wobbles
a survivor of sojourns
she remains

a mocking
clocking
launch
of hope.

we drifted apart.
we used to talk day and night,
then we were lucky if we had 1 decent conversation a week.

we drifted apart.
we used to always be together,
then you couldn’t even look at me.

we drifted apart.
we used to love each other,
then you didn’t love me anymore
wow okay so, if you’ve read my past poems you probably noticed most of them were wrote around relationship. We finally broke up today, it was mutual and honestly not that bad. We both knew it was coming.
