Oh hello there, my feline friend
Aren't you a silky black beauty?
I have never seen you around here
What brought you to my grass patch?
I afraid I have nothing but bread;
You dining habit does amuse me
As I watch you slap the piece a bit
And jumping around it before eating.
Taking your pictures, I could not help
But wonder, how you and your furry kin
How are you holding up in this pandemic?
I cannot even imagine your hardship
The things you risk to even survive
Or, perhaps, things were no different?
For a wild specimen such as yourself?
Part of me is jealous of you, envious
And it is not just for your good looks
Or how agile and carefree you appear to be.
No, you are blessed with far more
Despite hounded by stray dogs
You seem to be in satisfactory solitude
And most importantly, you have freedom
Free from the clutches of powerful idiots
We dumb humans have for "leaders"!
Inspired by a beautiful black cat who stopped by outside my residence one evening

but I know
just as a cat flinches
when you move to pet it,
so do I.
we both no longer know the difference between
affection and attack.
On abuse and assault
Camera, lights, action...
Wake up, get up and don't forget to stay up.
Sway n walk but remember not to drop,
this is what we are going to call fashion.
Bring your hips left to right, stand up tall
and try not to fright. Bright lights up in it,
cause every gentleman loves to stare as the
senorita walks up the stairs in her high stilettos.
Smell of fresh fabric and the grip of leather tights,
take it and wear it because tonight you're the Queen
of the ball baby, coming out through the dark light.
We want fashion, poise and something to call Sensuous.
Do the cat walk
Strike a pose and tip to your toes,
cause tonight is fashion.
Competitive looks and reading books, you know you're in
it for the game to win it.

Somebody abandoned their cat and it's a **** shame.
I have decided to call her Penny, that is her new name.
After being abandoned, she decided to live here and she has chocolate brown fur.
Penny is beautiful and if she lives to be twenty, I'll always take care of her.
As I walked to the store today, I saw a cat that had been killed by a car.
When our pets are alive and healthy, we should realize how lucky we are.
Penny was abandoned but she's no longer alone.
I have given my new cat a name and a new home.
This is a 2nd poem about my cat

Somebody abandoned a cat in my neighborhood.
They no longer wanted her so they got rid of her for good.
At first, she'd come on my property for a few hours and then she would leave.
She would do this every so often but now a new home is what she has received.
She has decided to stay here for good, I now own this cat that was once a stray.
Somebody didn't want to own her anymore so they decided to throw her away.
She has no name, I haven't decided what to name her yet.
But she's not a stray anymore and she will be a great pet.

Fire crackles as I take my tea
–2 creams 3 sugars
The heavy drops of summer rain
Fall to the parched earth out the window,
A symphony on aged tin roofs

I let out a contented sigh
My movement inspiring a small chitter
My furry companion curls tighter
To The the alabaster skin of my hip
At peace once more.

She says 'Honey I’m home' as she enters the room,
One life destroyed 7 lives left,
Ready to feast and fight,
She is the dictator of her fate,

She lusts for the crack of the whip,
The thrill and the thrive as she chases her victims,
The squeals and the cries as she plays with them,
The heightened experience of being alive,

She is one hot kitty-cat waiting for her prey,
She doesn’t want Batman to get in her way
She pins him to the ground and places a deadly kiss,
Upon his pouty lips under the Christmas mistletoe,

She cracks the whip once more as she scatters into the night,
Cleans her wounds and purrs softly under the moonlight
But she did not realise she left a fragment of her soul,
A piece of a kitty-cat claw which is stuck in Batman torso

Erwin, bitte, bitte!
I guess I should have told you first
when I found your missing diary.
So here I am, stuck in the kitty SuperMax.

Yes, I am Schroedinger's cat
trapped in a box with
food, water, and air--
and an infernal machine.
There's no way out--
no litter box either.

I assure you that I'm alive-- for now--
But I wonder about the world outside--
Does it persist, has it vanished--
or is it in a more indeterminate state?

If anyone is out there, please LET ME OUT!
Because life goes on— for a while,
How about some kitty litter, Bitte Schön?
Rejected by Scientific American on grounds of whimsey.
Schroedinger's puzzle asks if the cat is dead, alive or both.

Oh Mr Tibbs, all dressed up in your tuxedo.
Where are you off to?
Can I come with you?
I see you waiting, in my window.
You pretend not to see me... But I know you do.

Sometimes you look at me, I don't know what's going on in your head.
Sometimes the way that you look at me, makes me feel you want me dead.

I know you love me, sometimes it hurt me.
Sometimes you hurt me, when you love me.
I know you cause me pain... but not intentionally.
I'll always love you, even if it hurts me.

Oh Mr Tibbs you always dance when you're happy.
But when I talk to you, you turn you're back on me.
Oh look at your grey hair, you're getting older.
The thought of loosing you makes me feel colder.

You wake me at 5 in the morning, scratching at my bedroom door.
But when I give in I can't sleep, 'cause you curl up on me, sleep, and snore.

I know you love me, sometimes it hurt me.
Sometimes you hurt me, when you love me.
I know you cause me pain... but not intentionally.
I'll always love you, even if it hurts me.
This started out as a fun little song my husband and I wrote about our cat Mr Tibbs. He's has such a personality, we thought he deserved one.
