Dancing on stars, they warm my feet,

My words are lost in the laughter.

I find myself floating

And I fall into orbit again.

I found ground for my love-weakened legs,

And now an ocean of dark is no longer mine.

Palms kiss as the planets float above,

unnoticed.

I was as lonely as the moons of your eyes that glow with life.

My head is now free and your smile is the light that races outward.

Oh the vastness of this unexplored room.

Fear.

For no trees are grown here

None to replace the oxygen in my breath your beauty has taken away.

her heart was ticking away,
counting all the seconds,
waiting for the time to come.

the right time to let go of

everything
Hell's day to-morrow
and I am all out of ***
To help me sleep
Maybe I will be up all night
waiting for Death's sweet embrace
because I know that the Reaper
will bring me peace
I drank the last of the *** last night.

Broken hearts make broken spirits,
Tainted souls make ****** people,
ignorance makes bliss and water sprouts
a rose,
I'll always be with you no matter where
you go,
I am the tainted soul watching over
you,
I am not a man I can't do this on my
own,
this is the eighteenth time I can count
on my pride to go home,
And I'm free,
was a slave to people,
now all I could be is me.

see you in my dreams,
see you in the oceans,
see you in the mirror,
see you in class,
see you in books,
see you in the shower,
see you on t.v every night by the hour,
everything becomes clear,
but when you kiss me it just starts fade away,
and when your near,
I get a sense of reality that you'd come here,
just take me with you,
see you in my dreams,
see you in the oceans,
see you in the mirror,
see you in class,
see you in books,
see you in the shower,
my beautiful demon.

Two rights will never fix a wrong
But neither will a poem nor song
So I will say that I'm happy
Just laugh with instead of at me
A short drunkenly-written poem

I’m no author, novelist or poet.
I’m just Me,
And don’t I know it.
I don’t need to be classified,
As long as I’m writing, I’m satisfied.

Typing out words, line by line,
I don’t care if they don’t rhyme.
I don’t care if my verses don’t scan:
I’m not always an Iambic Man.

I just say what I gotta say,
I’m not worried about any pay.
Words come to me without much bidding,
The world of its evils I hope to be ridding.

I love to spread lots and lots of Love,
Bringing peace to all like a messenger dove.
Things of beauty bring joy, John Keats rightly said,
To make us sleep easy when we go to bed.

So I’ll paint what I paint,
And sing what I sing,
Just letting those words
Do their magical thing.

I Am..

I do not identify myself as a black american
I do not identify myself as an activist
I do not identify myself
As anything other than what I am
Do not arbitrate my existence
It will only magnify your bigotry
Do not lecture me
It will not ratify your ministry
Do not objectify my identity
Do not marginalize my sincerity
I know your criticism
It will not dwindle me
I am defiantly deaf to it
It will not compute
Trust me
It will only intensify
What I occupy
Do not subject me to anomaly
Do not try and direct me
I will not comply
Do not concern yourself
with my essentiality
I am not lost
Do not concern yourself
With what defines me
Just ask
If I am willing and able.
