Built from scraps of the past
Fastened together by screws
Made to love and be loved
Made possible by programmed heart
A beautiful maiden in metallic gray
A reflection of a lost love

She opens her eyes and silently
Caresses his face so warm yet weary
Then hugged him as she wiped his tears
The same reason that made him fall in love
Yet the same reason why something's missing

He can't bring back the dead and the past
Forever lost in the void, never to be seen
To live and move on, to carry on the present
He cried and cried harder than she wiped
As oil flows down her eyes

A small girl
With dreams and ambitions
Stuffed in her backpack
Humming, she waits while staring
At the other side of the station
Where people, different ages and stories
Wait for the same train

She is alone, it doesn't bother her
It is life that is in front of her
Life that is one way and short
Life that passes by in a blink of eye
Life that is worthwhile, even if painful
Life that is young, yet old
Life that is the way it is meant to be

The train she's waiting for came suddenly
It's time to pack up and leave this station
Life must go on, even if it rains
The memory of youth and a simple world
Isn't just the place for her anymore
This is for her own good, destination bound
To a new home
Adulthood

We used my last name
As part of being together
So tomorrow we could end it
Cash and cheap pen
Is all we need
To seal the deal
With the legal devil
But my heart's the ink
And my hands are shaking
I don't want to leave you
I still love you
Like early days full of promises
The idea of leaving the nest
To build a new one
I don't want to leave you
I still love you

The dream wasn't for me
Like a window shopper
Peeking through the glass
Six feet away, desperately
Even if I reach out,
I'll never be able to touch
There's nothing I can do
Nothing will ever come true

The dream wasn't for me
When I dreamt it, I doubted it
And when I thought I'll have it
It slipped past me
Now I'm left with beers
Some broken hopes scattered
And worries and fears

The dream wasn't for me
I won't ever dream about it
Again and again it would come
Again and again I'll wake up
Some things are meant for others
But definitely not for me

The unknown and ambiguity
                   is where
                    I will
                     sail
                     even
                      if
                     they
                     don't
                     dare
I sailed slowly, but I sailed forward and onward
Storms and waves, I've found my dear Atlantis
Where the depths is immeasurable but calm
I have no regrets, I've waited for you
And now, if I am going to drown
                 I will not hesitate anymore
                 For below and down under
                      In chaos and silence
                            I found her

For tomorrow is barren of promises
Like the darkness that slowly creeps at us
Only in the light at the flower field
Will I know that I have won against the odds
Everytime I remember you, I feel warm hope
Reminding me to go on, to exist, to live
Suddenly, we were drowning, but you saved me
Of all things, why should you leave?
For good things come to an end
To fulfill the promise, we traveled so far
Even in the face of the unimaginable
Now that we're together and alone
Even I know that you are now gone
But will you be there? Will you be there?
Remind and assure me that you will be there
All I wanted was to save you
Even if it cost me the world, Luna

— The End —
