I knew I loved you,
     when I couldn't help but stare.

     Because it, I couldn't fight.

the best day of my summer
was of course, spent with you.
yet all we did that day,
was nothing new.

we went to lunch
at the end of the pier,
surrounded by ocean
Catalina was clear.

you took something from me that day
without your knowledge.
i did the same to you-
we needn't acknowledge.

since that day on the sea,
i've not been the same.
i gave you my heart,
and you gave me your key.

My room smells of white sage, I burnt earlier to-day.

The window chimes are chime-chiming away.

The rain pelts upon the panes of the glass.

And cars drive by, some slow, some fast.

The black light is dim, for only me to see.

I read dusty novels, and bless-ed  poetry.

I'm finally at peace, after a tiresome day.

I'm not solemn, nor joyous, just content as I lay.

Everytime I love; I lose.
A piece of me, is forever with you.
Leaving me spotty and holey and broken in some parts--
Forcing the next, to love from the heart.

This doesn't make me weaker or less than before--
But rather more open, to love greater,
To love more.

I long to be desired--
    Not just once, but always.

    Like the way a child plays, with his favorite toy.

I long to be desired--
     Not by many, but by you.

I long to be desired--
     I love me, do you love me too?

there's an eloquent mystery in the air--
ever hear it calling?
       over here, over there?

there's an eloquent mystery in my mind--
I answer the voices, one at a time.

i heard you calling, and you called back to me.

how does one pause the inner workings of a mind?

does it simply take time?
a long unwind?

or does the mind know what's best- when the mind's keeper is at rest.

Take a stroll with me-
   It's anything but dreary.
The songs of sweetness in the sky
    Are frequent and quite merry.

The Summer's kiss is abundant,
     The leaves whisper to the trees.
Strolling silently I listen-
     To the melodies around me.

I must admit, my only desire'd be-
For someone to stroll with,
      alongside by me.

there's always going to be a reason
     you come running back around.
unleash me, i bequeath thee--
    there is no second time now.

keep your distance, my dear,
     you're coming too close.
there is no place for you here,
     only long ago, hope.

please leave me be,
    i want you no more.
there was only one reason we met,
    simply; wrong love lore.

I know why I cry inside.
The parts of life I discover, collide.
Deep in the trenches of my soul
beams of light maneuver--
        but never reside.

The joys and pains are one in the same.
When all you've ever wanted,
is something you've never gained.

i stare at the moon
gallantly hovering amongst the stars
knowing, hoping, wishing
you aren't just as far.

the Moon smiles back
slowly, and all at once.
diminishing my fears--
inside, I blush.

for the stars, like me,
play hide and go seek.
but the Moon always knows
the solemn secrets i keep.

The thing about twilight
(That's oh so blue)
Is the moment no time lapses,
And I'm together, with you.

I crave your soft caress--
Outlining the valleys and hills
       on my supple skin.

I crave your hands and fingertips--
Intertwined in mine.

I crave your kisses--
You give upon my forehead,
when I'm half asleep in a dream of you.

I crave your breath--
As you breathe in mine.

I miss waking up to you in the morning sun

That beams and shines through the pane--touching your eyes.

You await for me to awake
With your soft, subtle, grace.

A lonely man still wakes in the morn,

Let me into your eyes-
Those honey brown, forever bright eyes.

The beauty you seep, it comes from the
Cracks and Crevices of the wandering soul within.

There isn't a piece of you that can deny
The Earth or the Sky
of the Love you expose--
through the Cracks and the Holes.

don't forget about us, my dear.
the silence is too sullen for me to bear.

your stare, in silence, is what we had--
gazing deeply, falling sweetly.

you had the only key that could unlock
what others had sought.

but like time and time again,
Time always wins.

my betrothed.

in the sea of despair,
...i rather fancy it there.

I often wonder what it's like,
to live in a world, enclosed by delight.

It's beginnings and ends
are one in the same.

What one may call the end,
is another's noblest Game.

"Carry on, carry on",
say the specs in the globe.

Fall fast, fall hard,
until the end is known.

have you ever sat and thought about life?
not with the scores of metaphors

but of the lives and deaths of the past and the present.
what will become of your stardust bones?

once lost in space, now grow (and grow).

Empty, shattered, cold inside.

"But where to fly?"

I die.  The weight inside is hollow at best.
But where does one wander, at a wanderer's best?

Through the footprints of strangers lost in the night?
Or at their own discourse, a wanderer's delight!

But wait, alas, I've forgotten my shoes.
It's hard to travel when you have traveler's blues.

i can't continue like this, my sweet.
life's hard enough with burden's i keep (keep)

don't go playing rhythm sticks with my heart;
before you're through, it's apart (apart)

continue on, must i? (you must)
but what if we were bounded souls;
dare you trust? (trust)'

ah, the breath of life is just;
not now, not ever, will i trust (bust)

he who has not been hurt,
has done so before.

the cycle of loving, and taking,
shan't continue; no more.

the reason for trust
the reason for pain

lies not in your actions
but in your words of vain.

Is the greater evil in that of knowing?
Or is the lesser evil in the known?
To know the difference would be a delight,
but alas for now, I say goodnight.

If there's always a battle,
deep within your heart,
how then do you know;
When it stops? When it starts?

You don't know what you do to me, my dear.

"Hide my fears and tuck them away"
       Sleep sweetly, drift away.

Go to a place we share once more.

To a land of full trees, full hearts, evermore.

This life is incomplete without you, my dear.

That's it; the stare.

Knowing I was done for,
     right here, right there.

Your eyes mesmerized my paralyzed life.

And gave me the courage to not blink once,
