I want our love to be like a tree
No matter the season we will find a way
To grow, adapt and survive
... together

This is not goodbye my friend
This is not goodbye.
This is just a blip in time,
A partially closed curtain,
The stars coming out at night.

Tomorrow they will be gone
And we will see daylight once more.
And I will see you.
This is not the end.

You drive me so crazy,
When you give me that look.

You drive me crazier,
When you say those 3 words.

You drive me craziest,
When your innocence I witness.
I love you so much, dear Kripi.

My HP Poem #899

I tore the paper into pieces
I hope it's that easy to pull my feelings apart,
I was you or you were I
You tore the paper that was my heart.
On the shallow beach
Your body was floating
Cold, Quiet
Eyes open, looking for hope
In humanity, that is lost
The pictures of the kids floating dead after drowning trying to reach Europe still haunts me. I wonder which is better, to die under the rubble of your home, starvation or drowning!

let's sit and be nothing, do nothing,
in the silence and murmur of the flowers
while the breeze holds and hugs those who sit alone
and let our hearts move with this wind.
If I ever had the chance to sketch a portrait,
I'd sketch a portrait of you,
Your beady grey eyes,
Your jawline,
So definite,
Your smile,
Your hair,
So surreal and breath taking.
You are perfection,
And the  best piece of art I could ever draw.
If you detect any mistake please tell me right away.

The moths fly in
to catch the
light
because I leave
the windows
open,
I find them
fallen on my
sill,
hard and crisp
as death-
dried flowers
losing color,
fading away.

I always leave
my windows open
and let everything
in.

the animals
the light
the smoke from a
neighbor's chimney
or a fire burning
far away-
the moths
the wasps
the black beetles and
gnats
and romance-
and you-

you are not excluded.

I always keep my
porch light on,
my windows propped
up
letting the world see
everything I am
and August,
you came in-
but
I still
can't shut
the window

I'm so afraid of
you leaving the way
you came
suddenly
suddenly
suddenly through an
open window
and this time I might have
to shut myself in
because I've never
found a light like
you

I'm like the moths
who look for the light
in my window
and get too close
and fly in, head first
without restraint and
incinerate

you're too bright and
I'm too open
and I think that
this is
it.

Madeleine
She
She is like a tree
Strong yet as you wander
The depths of her soul
She is fragile

She was beautiful
But nobody gave her love
Her rosy cheeks and lips were wasted
Her youth was gone and tainted

He came into her life
and swept her like a raging storm
She fell in love
But he cut her

He cut her
Like any man would cut a tree
And she was never the same again
I've fallen in love with a hurricane
With death and danger
A natural disaster
I've tried so hard to make it work
To calm that storm
Raging in him

But today I let it go.
