Cloak'd in verdant green,
Wrapp'd in royal blue
Finest golden sheen
From crown o' shining hue

Face as burnished prism
Gushing grace aglow
With acts of altruism
Rushing to and fro

Radiating hospitality
Welcome to humanity,
In tender, softness, sympathy
Kindness, good-will 'n charity.

Sweetest music o' rauschpfeife
Fills a world aswarm
As he sows the seeds of life,
As he breathes sentient form,

Whilst in quietest corner
Soars transparent spirit
Rays o' purple adorn her
Fires of sweetest merit

In a space of nothingness
In centre of sensual emptiness
Yearns for soul of all-thing-ness
Yearns for grace of no-thing-ness

For that hidden Seed of Soul
Who treads unseen in silence
Who is the Whole that fills the hole
The place of spirit subsidence

In the darkness of the night
Far from starkness o' crass light
Wrapped in black, mind aflame,
Takes her leave, takes to flight

So these two opposing sides,
Intransigent as moon divides
Sea from sand in cyclic tides
Each with lords and angel guides

Till He saw that it was good
And so created harmony
Peace between the outer hood
And inner returning fervency.

Jack paid a visit
to our township overnight
leaving his white frost
Get in touch with nature,
Behold its beauty in your heart,
Listen in silence.
The rustling leaves dance to the tune,
The birds join the symphony,
Singing their songs,
Giving hope to the silent woods.
Take a walk and find pleasure in the path less wood
Rabbits tracks leading to everywhere,
Crackling of dry leaves beneath your feet,
Tall trees whispering;a story to tell,
Follow a grumbling,rumbling river,
Running past rocks, leaves and twigs,
And find grace as it cascades into a waterfall.
Climb a mountain and get its good tidings
Nature's peace will flow into you,
Its peak hidden in clouds and mist,
Enjoy the air,
Behold the view.
And if want sit calmly beside a lake,
Fishing or reflecting,
Find the surrounding beauty in its reflection.
Not to forget to smell the sea,
And hear the music in its roar,
The crashing waves that kiss the shoreline again and again.
Lastly feel the sky,
Romanticize with the moon,
Waltz with the stars,
Let your spirits fly,
For there is beauty in nature everywhere.

...of wine and mirth
and holy birth,

of flowers and promise
and braided calmness,

of hummingbird and dragonfly
and their descending sky,

of porpoise and whale
and us as wind against the sail,

of grown wishes and sadness
in the flat fields under duress,

of sugar-filled cocoons and syrup
and sweetest honeymoon trip,

of dimples of Venus
and smiles from Adonis,

of thin walls about her room
in hopes to visit soon,

of all things made and said
and each time we shared a bed...

Holy smoke!

This is a drag.

Nevertheless,
I've come to depend upon it.

When Pharaoh
checked out at the Red Sea,
odd circumstance made a grab for his vacant scepter,

and kingdom collided
with plague to paint a mural
on the palace wall (or maybe, it was the hotel lobby),

of a dreamer's garden,
his wife in veils, her dance a cordial
invitation to a great many unmentionable things,

the feral sky had blown
itself out, and in muted candle
nightshade, the mistress of war disembarked,

and so somewhere
in those upper rooms, ruler
and consort, hearing the sound of running water,

mystified their carnal
senses by infusing themselves
with a little vigorous morphine of the soul

Somersaults
In the tall grass
Lutalica girl
In places on the run
Stretched out in her awakening
Removes the dress of her captivity
To introduce herself to those she loves
There's something deeply unknowable
And terrifying in the arrival of her liberty
Sprung forth out of the box
She started from

Based on 'Oranges and Lemons'

Lozenges from heaven
Says minister of depression

It'll cover the shillings
Deficit in our billings

That's coz I'm brainy
Says administrator daily

We're not in a ditch
Never had a glitch

We're in years o' plenty
Since year of 1920

We'll grow and grow
I've always said so

[I'm in the know
With doctorate to show]

Here comes a whopper
To chase you to bed

And here comes a scandal
To chop off your head
To tune of 'Oranges and Lemons'

from cracked earth
an ebony branch
stretches towards
blue skies blanch
as iron hordes
ride from ranch
crush 'n floor
without wherefore
with none to stanch
blood of gored
ebony branch,
underfoot cranch,
'neath powdered sword

then from the air
without siren'd blare
invisible foe
blow after blow
crushes the hordes
magnates 'n lords
clobber and clout
cry and shout
crumble till grout
within and without
till all that's left
in world bereft
is a branch in a cleft.
