to feel is to
be human

to be human
is to live

and to live
is to go through life
its challenges
the ups and downs

the silhoutte
of a roller coaster
which either
makes you fret or bet

yet i am
i am tired
exhausted
of it all

feeling aches
in my heart
from memories
of neglect

what a catatonic
person i am
to even still feel
such an outburst

all at once
One in a million of my breakdowns.

Some poets write with pen
And others with pain
Just a random thought...

cobwebs yawn at worn out corners
shame will sing my whispers warn
fireflies fade in burning bulbs as
memory-making wings are torn

forever's filthy broken promise
lash the back of wounded past
marooned upon my stepping stone
where lucent limbo never lasts

i’ll ignore the worn out corners
turn my back on fading light
as cobwebbed feathers fight the fall
my patchwork wings intent on flight

you cracked stars
lavished me in  gloaming dust

beneath freckled lashes
through glimmering tips
I adored you
uncontrollably

pledged skies could not hide in your midnight eyes
still your somber head slowly shook

between powder keg’d echoes and dwindling flickers of twilight
I slashed clumsy neon scars
intoxicated

stabbed stars spat
stuttering sparks
searing gift-wrap skin
and shrivelling ribboned lust

so shamefully I cling
to your petrol soaked promises
with tinder ribs
awaiting combustion

but you always knew
I was too dewy
to ignite
and my lungs starve flames

as I gasp
knowing

only you can crack
my star shelled wish

she with pastel pink hair
like cotton candy waves
falling from her head and
foggy white skin
like a porcelain doll
adorned with gingered
freckle specks
sat on a park bench
warm creamy coffee
quietly steaming in her hand
just watching the commotion
the rush of the world spinning
right before her amber eyes
they say
get your head
out of the sky girl
come back down to earth
but don’t they know
she was born there
in the marshmallow clouds
and she can hear them
calling her home again

Mental illness is like burning paper in the daylight.
You can hardly see the flame, but the pages disappear.

i looked into those
beautiful hazel eyes
mesmerized by their untold story
i could look into them
for eternity wandering
in the depths of
browns, golds, and greens
i’ll drown in them
until your voice
brings me up from the sea

I'm death defyed by you
Your warm skillet
Of afterthoughts
And tongues

The sweet taste of
Teardrop and bubblegum
The *** from the nurses
Cabinet

The stairwell
We had a good habit

Only to lash out
Of many times like this
When I kiss the cheek
Of a monster
And steer down
A road less inhibbited

One we want to know again
One that taste of teardrops and sin
And fun nights of running
With guns down
the streets of Adalie

And once again
We find this bliss
Somewhere between
Heaven and who gives a ****

Where the stars kiss our toes
And wine fills our holes
From valinquished unrelinquesed love

Replaced by sweet current aftertaste
Trying to perfect this flow
Is a hell of who knows
Why must I travel down it again alone
