If the skin on my hands got thinner for every time I let a boy hold them,

I'd be bleeding. Torn to the bone.

If I had kept my hands to myself like a secret, then I could've held you

Without staining you with my past. Now I'm alone,

And I'm sorry. I would offer my shoulder, or the bend of my elbow

But those edges and parts of mine are worn down, too.

I stand in front of you, barely together; a corpse.

I understand why I am not considered at all, but I beg to be healed

Just to be considered by you.

Not a single thought in my head is my own.
Am I a person or a human clone?
I apologize for the crazy look in my eyes.
I'm still learning the difference between truth and disguise.
Just to remind you, I've been fooled many times,
I'm dull, worthless, and I have no use in this life.
True friends don't use and abuse,
but I fall right into the trap.
Makes me a perfect victim of a heartless attack.
It took me some years to learn,
most people aren't as good as me.
Call me boastful, but at least I get over jealousy.

If I am only a chapter in your story book...

I am the height of the adventure.
I may not be the light at the end of the tunnel,
But I am rising tension with the quotes that you wish you wrote,
And the kind of love that you'll find on the lips and fingertips of every character,
but won't be able to find in the real world.

Perhaps you're in love with fiction.

Perhaps that's what I am.

In some ways I'm as high as a bird.
And in others I'm already 6 feet under.

You could cut the air
With a knife, it was just that thick
It had me chewing my nails
Gnawing them to the quick

I plan for the worst
But I hope for the best
Born to create
I take my imagination
and put it to the test

They say that a bad attitude
Is like a flat tire
You have to change it
If you are going to get very far
Free will
Choose the things you choose
But you can't go pinning all
Your hopes on some far away star

As Life goes, and go it does
I hold on tight and put my past in the dust
I have come face to face with my demons
and lived to tell the tale
I was backed right up against the wall
but my morality is in tact...
'' This cat's not for sale''.

I'm alive for two reasons
yeah, it's come down to that
Reason number one is I was born
And number two well, I didn't die yet.
I am no go between it has come down to that
I can't deliver something I never had
Although sometimes I have to give my head a shake
And always remember to give a sucker an even break.
Taste the moon, my friend

listen it will sing at night

a generous portion of love

with dark colored  sun filled glass

causes this somber sad expression

fills this anguish of mine

to melt my tears of hate....

Let me feel the moon in my bones

behind my wounded heart of mine

a ballad, oh moon, you do sing

from the deepest part of my mind

harbors past missed opportunities

of events through my lifetime~

The moon is raining my tears at night

feeling the sadness of many a years

bounds to my very soul

to take my pain of the disturbed peace.....

The world has gone mad

my life is your equalizing song

rain moon rain, with all your might

Let me radiate in your light....

Let's taste the moon tonight...

be me a meteor more than a comet
the dust I get allergic to my eyes would aggravate
me into the stratosphere there in orbit might I be stratasphotic
glimmering in vacuums

go here or there thrown to Jupiter
wrap around Venus just miss her globes as i shoot across the
atmosphere find my trajectory is nowhere

burned up in the sun or the cold of outer reaches no telescope able to capably resolve me? I choose to be a moon, then of Venus or Pluto.

Perhaps me and the moon are similar..
hollow inside secretly...
scratch the latter line..the powers that be are seeking me..
you manifest light..where darkness should overcome it..
Are you God,? Did you say let there be light? Or did you hum it?..

but i revel in your loneliness, with silence and stillness..
Psychologist say  anti-social but my gift is no illness...

i skip rocks, in the dark blue lake where the moon reflects..
every rock, prophetic, a prophecy doomed and blessed..

and as the rocks sink, so do the illusions of my mind...
that illustrate an infinite hologram of space and time..
And..

i create the ripple as i launch the small boulder...
if i create such a ripple, imagine if i had a shoulder..

I mean in a sense..i create the reality I see...
and thats the secret of the universe..you heard it here from me...

never throw a rock if you dont want it to sink,
never pick the rock up, first.. stop and think..
And everytime you launch one remember the lake takes the blow..
the lake is the universe.. so start skipping slow...

and if you feel lonely, look up at the ever lasting light, Moon...
you will soon realize that God's been staring at you since the womb...

when it shifted back and forth the water in your mothers body in accordance...
to the accordion played by the angels, as heaven whispers with importance..

.

Moonlight reflects lingering ripples
glistening upon crystalline waters
as we float beneath a canopy
of enchanted constellations dreaming

Nebula brushstrokes paint
an onyx canvas in gemstone vistas
and comet tail whispers
as we melt within harmonic caresses

I make a wish on the falling stars
found in your heaven sent eyes
as cicadas sing along a shoreline
of silhouettes and lily pad shadows

When your stardust lips meet mine
and my heart beats in cosmic rhythm
with nature’s evening serenade composed
*in the key of this midnight celestial kiss

darling iridescence
do i look like a temporary replacement
or is it just written in subtle letters
in the spaces between my eyelids?

tell me if i talk too much.
i remember every word of endearment to be passed through
your lips. are they meaningless?
does "beautiful" slide off the tongue so easy, it has forgotten its own
meaning whenever you speak it?
does the word "amazing" leave a rancid taste in your mouth?
how many other places has it been? i'm sure it left an imprint on
the tongue of your ex lovers.

i'm sorry, i'm not usually so passive aggressive,
but i swear i can feel you leaving me and my insecurities to howl at a lonely moon.

Sugar sand beaches reach the horizon
Water so far it is naught but a glimmer in the distance
Sitting in the warmth of that powder-like earth
The sun seems to set over a desert
Purple and pink in smoking swirls of Heaven
Sopping up the beauty in open pores
Ready to receive all that is offered
Watching the sun begin to slumber
As Luna's light begins to shine in bulbous splendor
The glimmer seems to twinkle as brightly as the stars as they awaken
Multiplying by the moment
Mesmerizing, as the lights seem to grow
The air changes, a little cooler now
The sand turns to black glass glistening in the moonlight
Slowly taking over the horizon
Watching the twinkling onyx reflect the night sky
Almost hypnotized by the melodic whisper
The only evidence of life within the breezeless air
As black meets gray, the warmth of the water glides further
Swallowing the shore inch by inch
Blanketing all as it comes upon its farthest outstretched reach
Bathing in the warmth of black water,
Stippled with the most brilliant twinkling reflections
Wrapped in the heat of the night
Consumed by the darkness, by the stars, by the very heat of the earth
Slowly, deliberately, the water rises
Basking in the beauty of a sea that came to greet all who care to notice
As the ripples and waves wash over the footprints
Erasing the day and birthing it anew
The moon smiles its bright smile
The sand swims by unseen
And the stars shine like the brightest diamonds
in the light of the moon
