To those who wait
their strength shall be
renewed...

Those who
put their trust
in Me
Shall soar
like eagles...
They shall run
and not be weary
They shall walk
and not faint....

Their hope
...in Me...
will be renewed.
And they will continually
experience
My Presence...

Their dependence
on Me
enables them
to do My will
and  give Me glory.

They will learn
to enjoy Me,
for in My Presence
is fullness of joy,
and at My right hand
are pleasures
forevermore.....

I love You, my Papa.
I love You, my Jesus.

I know I am loved by You.

I can trust You
no matter what

what I see,
what I hear
whatever people say
or don't.

I might change,
I might mess up,
and I do
fairly often.

But You never do.
I can count on You
to do the right thing.
Always
Every time.

And that when You say something
You mean it.

And that You never stop loving me.
Never.

I thank You for that.
for always.

You never fail me
or forsake me.

You never give up on me.

Ever.

You are like the ocean
Drawing me in
As I step closer to the water
My feet sink in the sand
Leaving impressions of myself on the
Surface of your heart
But you steal the sand beneath my feet
I am swept into the water
With one wave you captured my being
You are so vast and beautiful
You are unending
And all encompassing
I wish nothing more than to drown
In the tides of your love
To sink deeper into the heart of my God
Because like the ocean your love is vast and
There is still so much left of you
To discover
Your word is my map
The guide to all treasure
And I will follow it faithfully
And though I might get a little lost sometimes
You are a patient guide
A faithful compass
And you will see me through
The stormy weather
And lead me home
Once more.

I've heard My God's the Keeper of,
   the sun, the moon and stars;
Yet never loses track of you,
He knows right where you are!

My God created everything,
   He made all living things;
Yet never leaves you all alone,
just call on Him, you'll see!

He rules the earth from up above,
   He's sitting on His throne;
Just call on Him from bended knee,
   He'll make His presence known!

You ever feel you are alone,
you'll see His Word is true,
Just follow what is written there,
   then watch, He'll  comfort  you!

Above all else we know
And all we understand
Be sure and hold this truth
Jesus is awesome love
Jesus is glorious and He
Forgives to heal our souls
While we are drawn to Him
With mercy redeemed
In awesome love He claims
Our souls for eternity
In heaven with Him
Jesus is sweet power
Here on earth to be near
All those who call on Him
To praise His name
Awesome love, holiness
Glorious in all He is
Jesus, Jesus who knows us
By name
Leads us in ways to be
One in His perfect light
Awesome in all His love
Jesus, all wonderful
Is beautiful holding us
In His awesome love

No matter how
Indoors or out
I never am alone

Inside the heat
Or cold on the street
You are what's going on

There's no surprise
It's always you that I find
Where I am going

I count it all
Blessings for sure
~Because you are my Home~

With memories
Sweet as can be
You're where they all come from

In you I find
The best in this life
That I have ever known

Take it all  in
From beginning to end
All life's highs and lows

From the very start
Beat of my heart
~Because you are my Home~

My God and mighty king
can see
where we are and what we'll be.
He knows we're living
day to day
and hears us every
time we pray.
He understands our
every need
and always knows
the way to lead.

He is our sunrise
through the storm
protecting us
from every harm.
My God and mighty king
I sing
with grace and love
for you and me
He always
stands by
patiently.

A marble Stone from the earth
Beautiful in every way to God
Found by those who labored odd
And thus rejected. Without worth

This very piece of quaried Rock
"Valueless" and thrown away
Is a Cornerstone unto this day
The most important building block

Blood weeps, as tears, within it's cracks
For it is built upon a hill
But the lost reject it still
Though in it's HEART there is no lack

Within that Heart there exist eyes
That see all the hardship, pain
But in most people there remains
The need to believe Deception's lies

There is a statue of a man
The King David by his name
Michelangelo of fame
Erected it, as in Rome planned

The block of marble used for him
Had what, for most, was fatal flaw
But the great sculptor did then draw
The greatest carving there's ever been

This marvel, crowds to awe and sway
Made by hands of a talented one
But God selected the Cornerstone
But it's still reviled and cast away

It is ever there, to accept and thus atone
For the nascient misdeeds of self
Indeed, more precious than great wealth
Is the cleansing blood from a Stone

The marble blocks used for the Statue of David in Rome had a flaw in it. It was therefore rejected by many sculptors. But it was an excellent piece of marble. So Michelangelo worked around the flaw and thus created one of the most beautiful sculptures on earth.

The Stone I speak of in this poem
Is, of course, Jesus Christ.

This is a different rhyming scheme for me. I hope it came out alright...

Just how well do you know My God?
   He's the Ruler of everything,
He's Almighty and Omnipotent;
   My Jesus Lord and King!

He made the earth with spoken word,
   all just in seven days;
He formed the moon; each star in space,
   He set a certain way!

Not long from then, My Jesus came,
   as a little Baby Boy;
He came to earth to show us how,
to live for Him with joy!

Here on this earth, He marveled us;
   as displaying God's Own power,
He taught us how to love and give,
   to pray near every hour!

He took five fish, and broke five loaves,
   then thousands did He feed;
He showed His men what true faith was,
   by walking on the sea!

So many had doubt when Moses said,
"My God will make a way!"
God parted the sea, they walked right through,
   then Pharaoh's men He slayed!

He healed the sick, made blind men see,
   with touch of His dear hand;
He led the Jews through wilderness,
   on to the promised land!

He died for us on Calvary,
   our sins became His pain;
He washed away each one for us,
   then later rose again!

I hope you'll see how special He is,
   My Lord, My King, My God;
He touched the lives of millions here,
   on earth and far abroad!

As a little girl I saw you
You fell down and scraped your knee
And as the tears flowed
down your face
You thought I didn't see
Your mother came and hugged you
I wonder if you knew
That as she held you close to her
I came and hugged you TOO.

Yes, my child, I hugged you.
How it hurt to see you cry!
You thought that I was far away
But I heard your softest sigh.
You thought that I was far away
But I was always there...

Your every pain a call to Me
And every tear a prayer.

As a growing child I witnessed it
How the girls teased you in school
Well you understood the pain
Of being made a fool.
In the schoolground they all
Taunted you
I don't think that you knew
That when you sat
And hugged yourself
I came and hugged you TOO.

Yes, my child, I hugged you.
How it hurt to see you cry!
You thought that I was far away
But I heard your softest sigh.
You thought that I was far away
But I was always there...

Your every pain a call to Me
And every tear a PRAYER.

You came to be a woman
As precious as a dove
But you never saw it
For you'd always felt unloved
And so the world hurt you
How it tore you apart!
So I called you out and wooed you...

YOU ASKED ME IN YOUR HEART!

So now you know I love you
Now you see I cried!
Every time you did not trust Me
And believed deception's lie
Now you know LOVE YOU
AND I AM ALWAYS THERE...

Your every day a call to me

AND EVERY TEAR A PRAYER!!!

Locked in the wintertime of life
Transgression's grip as cold as ice
A dark'ning garden filled with strife
There planted every form of vice
A thorny bush, of bitter hues
I was a bramble so depraved
I wanted naught but to eschew

My life and press on to my grave
My life and press on to my grave

I had no willingness to live
My body bloodied, crushed and sore
No circumspection did I give
The full weight of sin I bore
And like a tyrant my disease
My drug addicted frame of mind
Like a briar wrapped and seized

My heartbreak in a fatal bind
My heartbreak in a fatal bind

Then like the warming light of spring
You came my precious ray of hope
O'r my bramble bush You'd sing
A bud came up to reach & *****
Warmer, warmer was the sun
Birds sang with You in the air
It was then I had begun

To leave behind my sin's despair
To leave behind my sin's despair

The tender bud it thrived and grew
Through deepest drought and bitter rain
And a bright bloom of awesome hue
Burst forth in glory that remains
That beauty is of Jesus Christ
It is to HIM all glory goes
He was the One who took my vice

Now looking down God sees a Rose
Now looking down God sees a Rose

With thunder and lightening
Shouting into the sky
With glory surrounding
The universe
The world feels His glory
His power reigns down
On the world seeking
Goodness and mercy
Hope for all people
We are in need of a
Touch from God
Believing in Jesus
Forgiving our sins
Leading us safe
In the palm of His hands
The power of God
Reaches out to the nations
Reaching to heal the generations
That come before the throne
Of God
Seeking redemption from our sins
The power of God reaches
Throughout the world everywhere
Giving us hope to come before Him
With broken hearts
Trusting in His word
He is the God of power
Of greatness and love
