My sadness is worth more than me
Inspiration
Insight
Inception
Implanting the seeds
Of creativity
And compassion
Impregnating me
With empathy
Giving me all that
So I can share it with thee

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.

It’s a strange sentiment
The desire to shame the intimate
Soft skin to soft skin
Hard muscle to hard muscle
Flower to flower
Rooster to rooster
Animal instincts
Desire to biochemical desire
Tongue to lips
Bear to cub
The wildness is a thing of wonder
Nature is a thing to treasure
Condemn how they feel if you will
But I will celebrate their lust
I will praise their love
And I will embrace them
While you waste you energy hating them

Azure mixed with red
Wine stains ripple the oceans -
Black pen shining through
We've lived a thousand lives
together compressed in few
years time lapse

each of the stones on this
ancient field of remnants
and memories moved and
turned around

the mosaic of wide wisdom
gained as a daily compassion
after any storm of life has
raged against our hearts.

Will the bard once told us:
"Music hath charms
to soothe the savage breast".

But who will sing the verse and chorus
to spell a world in disarray?

In this twisted season of idiot's tales,
our aching oversoul cries out
for sane and cooling anthems
to still the throb of molten *******
fevered with fratricidal pride.

Author of the cosmos, soothe us now!
Whisper dulcet songs of peace in our ears
that none can deny or misconstrue.

The rush of blood the face we placed
On every corner on every space
We raced to come to terms with life
With morality a facade for strife
Pointing to the pain as a promise for more
Pointing to old books that might restore
Dignity and respect for the living
While other possibilities are destroyed
And the destroyers are forgiven
Sweaty palms stomach ulcerated
And for the sake of the soon to be liberated
Let me explain how real morals are made
Not through musty scriptures
Not through verses that are immature
But through learning and coming to terms with
How everyone feels and experiences life different

I do not know why I whisper to the shadows
Those shaded corners have no use for me
They do not recall affection only the lack of light
It does not matter much although I thought it might
That if I found the right shadow there would be mercy
However, as it turns out all those shadows are just
Darker aspects not exactly the worst of me
But separate while still being part of me

There are bound to be
Uptight
Ultra right
Conservatives who want to fight
Want to say wrong is right
And right is wrong

Cause shifting priorities
In an easily influenced society
Gives them more power
To glower while they shower
Themselves with the wealth
We earned with our sweat
So they steal what we should get
And call it patriotic

DaSH the Hopeful
You enter
Riding on a soundtrack of rising blood pressure and self defeat
       Every conversation kills itself at the sight of you;
     A *joke
not quite worth telling, that no one would laugh at anyway
Every eye stops to stare at you
*An aging car crash of a human

Wrecked and painted in dried blood
Seducing onlookers with a rinky-**** smile
Missing the convenient yellow caution tape that tells you life stops here

You complain to fill the spaces left by your depleting self worth
That wasn't much there in the first place
In the mirror you see dirt
And you can't wash it away
, no matter how hard you try
Cause you're ****** in all the wrong ways
Up until you die

     Unintelligently designed
Your stupidity is almost genius
You blame others for mishaps that you have gained
                            Your sickness a silent auction
                       Anyone could have caught it
       Infectious Anonymous
Attended every week
And yet you're still so pathetic
you don't accept you're a disease worse than any flare up that could take hold
You don't know how to recognize the facts that you've been told

You complain to fill the spaces left by your depleting self worth
That wasn't much there in the first place
In the mirror you see dirt
And you can't wash it away
, no matter how hard you try
*Cause you're ****** in all the wrong ways
Up until you die

Long hikes and motorbikes,
Cabins, starlight, kids and tykes,
Parents, and mommies soon to be,
Gather at the greenest tree.
Spirits in ******* are unbound,
Where the silence  drowns the sound;
The victories that love has won.
We are never far when we are one.
I wrote this and posted on the same night after a peaceful day of spirirual recovery in the woods.

I cannot do this
With you.
I have nothing to run from.

You dream of escape.
A way out.
New, honeyscented beginning.

I like it here.
The bees all know
My name.

These are days of change.
Eggshell cracks,
Sun rising differently.

Sometimes I put my ear to
The ground and listen.
Heartbeat choirs of

Our unborn children.
Seeds of poets.
Write love; not war.
