Me
A long
withdrawal now
comes to
its end
and in
a soft but
roaring burst
the Earth
exhales
in peace
and silence

Trees are whispering to the plants and to the flowers,
the secrets of the night.
Clouds are dancing, with the moonlight,
to the soothing symphony of the night.

today i felt the sun
gently kiss
the back of my neck
and it reminded me
of y o u.
- all too willing to set myself alight for you.

Silver clouds
Summer rain
A change of pace
in quarantine.
I look beyond,
majestic skies
I long to wander
the great outside.
Summer rainshower from my window is a quick reprieve from the monotone of quarantine living.

The night fills my lungs
with whispers ancient.
Singing in my ears
so fondly.
I'm afraid that if it goes on
I'll melt right there
in it's velvet touch;
for no one
but the night
has ever loved me that way.
Comment if you liked any specific parts of my poem. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

I love the moon
Nights, stars...
Especially the pitch blackened sky,
As the Cool breeze
mollifies me.
I  could feel falling deep in to the galaxy as i paves  the way for tranquility
The Darkness we experience under  the calmness of moon is quite different
This calmness soothes the soul...
Heavy hearts becomes lite...
Feeling the gentle pet kisses by the light breezes makes us blush
We  find more meaningful-  self w
moon
As i found all my answers to the darkest secrets.
He keeps them safe, with no judgements
He's the epitome of soulful love.

I fell for the stars
but the thing about stars is
they're so far away

What colour is sky?
The sky is blue.
The colour of morning,
and its delightful hue.
Fantastic forests with delightful due-
add a jewel to this cronet of hue.

What colour is sky?
The sky is pink.
The colour of twilight,
and its alluring wink.
A tinge of joy hides in the skies-
like dreams living in a maiden's Eyes.

What colour is sky?
The sky is dark.
The colour of night,
and moon's cry of lark.
Here lurk secrets never said or told,
and persist emotions, eternally unconsoled.
What color is your sky......let me know

And if you are to love,
Love as the moon loves.
It doesn't steal the night,
It only unveils the beauty of the dark.

And if you are to love,
Love as the rain loves.
It doesn't wet the bodies,
It only washes the sad dirt of the souls.

And if you are to love,
Love as the wind loves.
It doesn't drift away,
It only cleanse you to the core by invading through each pore.

And if you are to love,
Love as the sun loves.
It doesn't radiates heat,
It only pours its warmth on you to enlighten your way.

And if you are to love,
Love as the star loves.
It doesn't delightfully twinkles,
It only reminds you that not even death can separate two hearts.

And so forth,
if you are to love
Love as the whole universe
& not just a part of it.

Some long, some tiny
Some literal, while some flowery
Some simplistic, whilst some dramatic
Some prefer to be unstructured
and some, pragmatic

And yet no matter how each poem is written
each is unique in their own poetic way
We live life listening to different poetry
And in poetry we live every day
People are poems. Not food. (XD)

I'm on a poem streak. Will rest for a while. I've read a lot of poems on this site and I find it absolutely wonderful how we live in different parts of the world, and don't even know each other's faces and names, and yet we connect to each other through poetry.

I believe each one of us has a story and poem to tell. What's yours?

I never regret the past
And its pain
Winter and its rain.
Time is fast
Good and bad
Will never last.
Seize your day
As if the last day.
Make of your life
A daily song
Even if things go wrong.
Life is pretty
Regardless of its being rusty.
