our minds used to dance,
upon each other fingers, our thoughts entranced.

a gaze so transfixed rock stood no feat
with your steady watch my cheeks filled a warm heat

with your absence i am rendered gazeless
my fingers now seemingly useless

Absent body, absent form.
Absent absolutely,
As if you were ne'er born.

Absent voice, absent deeds.
Absent frames,
Of histories ne'er seen.

Absent opinion, absent feeling.
Absent choice,
There's nothing left to be.

Absent, me.
On fathers, some fathers, but not my father.

I'm trying, I swear.
I'm stuck. Trying not to dispair.
It's bitter cold, inside this whole affair.
Frozen words, the only repair.

Help is near.
But I'm swallowed in fear.
Inside out, not one tear.
So close, yet so far, from my soughten cheer.

My instincts abandoned.
My emotions are stranded.
I'm at the precipice of where I've landed.
And nothing is ok, from where I'm standing.

I'm unfolding again.
I watch it begin.
So hold on my loves,
For the girl within, (the original sin).

Her body was fragile, her body was thin
Little did we know; she threw up in the bin.
It was all in her mind “pretty girls don’t eat”
And models themselves are always petite.
But there’s always a secret, a secret behind
The reason why these girls declined
The food they were offered and the drinks they were poured
And the high calories dishes were always ignored.
Dieting and pills became the norm
And the media portrayed it as a new art form.
But this “new art form” was a dangerous entity
And no one knew its true severity
Of this illness that gets in your head
And the sinister voices that want you dead.
But you listen to them as they’re your only friend,
The ones that will be there to the very last end.

Late last night I watched a film
Field Punishment No  1
About 6 New Zealanders
Who refused to fight the ***
Beaten, abused and humiliated
The stood up for their beliefs
And the army couldn't break them
Despite the torture and mental grief
Threatened with a firing squad
They steadfastly held their ground
We will not yield to you on bended knee
Though in fear for our young lives
We choose our own destiny

Up to the age of 19 years I had Catholicism forced on me
But when the killing started
I finally opened my eyes to see
No Gods in their compassionate wisdom
Would allow such things be done
Then praised in halls of worship
Allow fine hyms of death to be sung
And so I made the decision
Not to go down on bended knee
And so at the tender age of 19 years
I chose my own destiny

Backdrop of hues from heaven's palette
Two silhouettes stood hand in hand
A pair so in love on their deserted islet
Only witnesses were the sky and the sand

Two silhouettes with roles of lovers
Frolicked forever in the setting, evening sun
Only they'd know what laid under covers
Secrets of pure passion in their blood did run

Their merriment presented bare in a playful dance
Two silhouettes engulfed in their own private universe
Kisses and embraces offered in a reciprocative trance
Dark lips matched the other's voiceless whispers

Two silhouettes then dissolved with the set of sun
Strained my eyes to unravel this sweet shadow clad mystery
Last few moments pierced through like a shot from a gun
Because I realised that one was you while the other wasn't...

                            me...

They came in like a gun blazing
Death and rage in their eyes , gazing
They aimed to **** , **** them all
They don't mind , school or mall
Ending lives, satisfy their deathly hungers
Idolising their holy religious plungers
We name them terrorist , ****** killers
They spill blood just for the thrillers
Success is counted with the lives they ****
Human blood not unlike their own, they spill
Destroying families , the world they stitch
Life is Life and Karma's a *****
Dedicated to the lives we lost in Paris , the thousands that got genocided in Nigeria by Boko Haram and the little kids in Peshawar

Rain, falls, hard, fast, heavy,
but short lived and brief;
tears poured out in sorrow,
an outpouring of grief.

Soon, the sun, will shine again,
clouds will lift from earth;
and we'll hear again the laughter,
of someone's joy and mirth.

Shadows, pass, along with gloom,
the sadness melts away;
tomorrow beats with new-found hope,
and life renews each day.

Gone, the veil, that covers us,
swept aside, the pain;
comes once more, the strength,
from adversity, we gain.

The rain, is but, a memory,
the tears are dried and past;
we forge on to the new year,
with the goal our love will last.

When I got home this morning
My wife was tearing hair from her head
I said what's the problem darling
She said the ****** toasters dead
She said I've tried everything to
Get that thing to cook
I said just take it easy
I'll go and take a look
Tool bag in hand I entered
That electrically haunted space
I surveyed the situation
The answer  was clear to see
I unplugged the multi cooker
AND PLUGGED THE TOASTER IN
Yep fellers this really did take place this morning

Got Attitude, hush now don't be rude.
Mostly because "God I hate that dude"
He got my vision skewed. In a mood.
Used to be a ***** now I'm  just crude. Got *******.
As in the ****, with that dude. Vision Skewed.
Stopped the Feud.
Thoughts intrude.
Vision Skewed.
Interlude:
Nope still skewed.
Thoughts Renewed.
Hate that dude.
**** that dude.
Love that dude.
Thoughts conclude.

Type cast a character that lasts.
A classic from the past.
Paparazzi cameras flash.
Red carpets are walked.
Obsessed fans lurk & stalk.
It's assured bodyguards make them secure.
Mature & pure.
Of that I'm definately sure.
Read the brochure & see the global tour.
A journey to endure.
Obscured & lured.
Detours to premature.
Time for leisure.
In rehab don't have a seizure.
Sobriety is not new but a vital cure.
Fame can be a blur.
Starstruck by their presence.
In awe of their essence.
