The day rushed passed us
Twilight is willing to fade away
Let’s plan for the young night
Vivacious and glamorous
The moonlight will brighten it
Gorgeous sliver light
Will drape us together
Adorning us with glittering suits
Endless bubbles of anticipation
Enthusiasm is corked open
From the bottled up feelings
A heady concoction
With music in our heart
The same lyrics, we shall hum
Music of the soul, shall set the mood
To the perfect symphony
A grand spectacle
For the night to enjoy
Smooth moves
Will glide us though the moment
Let’s say cheers
And the party shall soon begin

Truth is relegated to oblivion
Whereas, grandiloquent lies, win

Make this a privileged world
Stars will shine brighter
And night’s more beautiful

Over the reclusive heart

Happiness is elusive
In the heart that laments
This gorgeous life
Radiant with love
Overshadowed
By hollow promises
And hedonistic pleasures
Reality we present ourselves
In the pursuit
Along the wrong path
Passing on the flames
Of destruction
Life is much more
Than exhaling and inhaling
Toxic fumes of anger and apathy
Raise your consciousness
To elevate to a higher plane
Of reality which exists
Beyond the realm of mundane
Happiness is not elusive
More so, we tend to run away
From an alien feeling
Life is much more precious
A gift from eternity
Cherish beauty in your heart
Keep the flames of hope burning
To take you along the path
Of happiness

With lies to support you
Vain you are
In your pursuit
To conquer truth
And its pinnacle
