You're on the edge of my taste
Tongue slow swirl and lingering
Along all of your dips, all of your hollows
Salty sweet, heady summer honey
I want to get drunk off of you
Lay in the sunshine
Soak up your scent
Bright eyes stare into mine
Brimming with the force of your smile
Steam rises in our wake
Peripheral vision goes dark
All we can see is the beginning
The end
All roads in between
Memories dance along the tips of our fingers
Tracing the universe between our heat

Crystallized moon beams
Fractured light of endless desire
Shimmer on you as our eyes meet
Beneath a canopy of gemstone brilliance
Pearl buttons glisten as fingers touch
Your smile grants permission
Leaving me breathless

Serenity of the night serenades
Our hearts beat in silent yearnings
Lips find your shoulders pure
Your neck sweet of perfumed nectar
A sultry sigh floats wispily to the heavens
As we lay entwined on feathery grass
Exploring each other amidst whispering winds

City lights twinkle, reflections on the bay
Unaware of our love, our moment
Leaves trickle to earth like tiny wings
As I gaze upon your silhouette
Mysterious against this velvet sky
Still beauty falls like summer rain
Drenching my sight with you

A full moon stares down smiling
Happily enchanted by our movements
Lifting and lowering, the dark horizon mirrors you
And still I linger upward at your charm
“I love you” I sough, feeling every pulsation of affection
Blissfully seeking, deeper inside
You peer down of hypnotic gazes

Harmonic moans sing in a sensual duet
Echoing through tree lined vistas
Increasing in tempo, you fall to my lips
Tongues dance to the melodic rapture
Fevered vibrations rhythmically sway
Clutching my arms, head arching back
Your hair like chocolate ribbons flowing

A shooting star trails your murmured gasp
Fireworks ignite within, intensely exploding
Illuminating your smile, your face
I rush to meet you, simultaneous sensations
Quivering starlit ecstasy shines
Collapsing in my loving arms
As the evening blankets us in euphoria
I just want to spin in circles til everything makes sense.

Who wants to spin with me?

What are those people thinking,
developing toxic weaponry,
chemical compounds
in aerosol form.

Oh those nerve agents,
they can scramble your brain,
put you into seizures
with no control over your bowels,
foaming at the mouth,
it ain't pretty.

And when your lungs fill
up on blood
from AK,
no way
you're gonna make it.
I wonder how
those guys would feel
if you sprayed some of that mist
on their next of kin.
I insist
they'd lie.

A blanket of darkness caressed the street
Of people asleep with misguided feet
With hollow hearts devoid of light
They couldn’t see which way was right.

They flirted with death quite comfortably
Acquired great knowledge yet remained empty.
Nothingness stopped them from venturing out
They couldn’t see past their realm of doubt.

One girl arose and examined her soul
Unlike the others, her heart was made whole
Her citizenship was not of that street
Her home was beautiful, bright, and complete.

She was an ambassador from her homeland
Spreading its light with the book in her hand
Whenever she went to a cold, dark place
Her heart’s luminescence would radiate.

Attracted to her light, many gathered to see
What made this girl so loving and free.
As she read her book it opened their eyes
Many chose truth over superficial lies.

This book from her homeland was about her King
Who created beauty from every broken thing.
If the people came to Him, He would heal their hearts
And mend together all their fragmented parts.

Many said it was nice, but couldn’t be true
Others said it was myth, something construed.
Yet some believed, and received new life
Escaping the blanket of darkness that night.

We are more than the whole,
Are lives define our life
What we make,
What we create,
What we destroy
We are the janitors,
We create life
We take life,
What are we?
Are we gods?
Are we demons
Good,
Or
Evil,
Does it exist,
Are we the sum of our parts
Each different,
But together a whole
Do we change,
Are we meant to obey
Do we fight the power,
To fulfil our destiny.
We are the children of earth
But are we destined to be stars,
Can we survive are stupidity
To be better than we are
We are separate,
Are we one.
Can we evolve past the hate
We are kind,
We are not
Human,
But
Animal instinct,
Can still control us,
To conquer,
So much harm to another,
But we wish for peace so much
We are separate but we are one, never forget we are human.

Hollow
I smiled as she looked into my eyes
Accepting, expecting
She wondered just what I had in mind
And I gave a devilish grin
I kissed her neck, down her torso
Ran my fingers down the length
Of her sides
Until they met her thighs
I ducked my head
Kissed her navel
Looked up once more
To see her face
Her closed eyes behind tangled red hair
Her mouth slightly open
Allowing only shudders of breaths to escape
And I dipped
To meet my lips
To her lips
I felt a longing
In the warmth of her thighs
Tasted her sweetness
As my feet brushed against
An empty bottle

Home is where the souls reside
Heart’s mantra is only bliss
Happiness spilling beyond four walls
The roof above shelters the love
Strong foundation of only truth
Ecstatic moments of fun and frolic
Home which shelters lovely souls
It’s just not a structure anymore
Housing the home in your heart
