There isn't a person
in this world
who has
not
said or done
something they
deeply regret.
And it's
okay.

We're only human.
We're not programmed
to be flawless.

Naturally we would want to:

lock it up,
toss the key,
walk ahead,
never look back.
Pray that it remains
buried or lost in the
shadows so that society
never finds out.
Given the opportunity,
they would relish
in the chance to
tear us apart.
Drag us up and
down on the media.
Because only in our
moments of weakness
they can forget their
own imperfections.

Sad but hey, that's society now...

Just know that making
a mistake is natural
Owning up to what
you did takes
courage.

Just remember this, don't forget your mistakes, ok?

Never forget.
Because to know
who you are,
you need to

remember where you came from.
Such is life...
Only 22 and I can admit and acknowledge some big mistakes.
Things I'm ashamed off...
But hey, that's life!
As sad as I am, as scared as I am, as angry and hurt as I am, I'm still here.
Even when I feel like wanting to die, I'm still here.
My story isn't over. Not yet anyway.

Be back soon!

now that spring is gone
where is winter

I don't  like this summer
please don't take away the flowers

I'll pick up a pen
write on these empty pages

I'll behave
I'll love my mother

I want the rain
these sunny days
are burning away my brain

memories
are disappearing

I don't remember my friends

the walls are closing in
I don't want to lose myself

in this sun

this sun
blinding away
my hope

Opinions are not facts.
No matter how true they seem.
No matter how much you justify them.

Your views and thoughts,
Are yours alone.
Yet you try and impose them on others.
So that you can be in control.

Force and Harmony,
Cannot exist together.
Synthetic and Natural,
Shall never be the same.

What's important to you?
To win an argument and lose a friend?

Difference of opinion,
Can either widen your perspective,
Or narrow your mind.

Mahogany Eyes

I will forever remember
Those beautiful deep brown eyes
That you thought were so plain.
But darling, you could not see:
how could you possibly see?
The way they shined in the sun
breathtaking hues of mahogany
Melting into golden rays
Circling an eclipse
your “plain brown eyes”
truly aren’t plain at all
they are a stunning mixture
of every color known to man
The most beautiful sunset on earth.
Your eyes are the most vivid memory I have of you, even after all of these months. You always used to call your eyes "boring and plain" and even called them "**** brown." But to me, your eyes were the most beautiful color I've ever seen. You know when you mix a bunch of colors together and it all turns brown? Thats how I viewed your eyes... The deep brown was just a mixture of everything you could offer the world.

Drop the knife
Put away the gun
Don't take your life
Soon there'll be sun

I know all too well
How hard you must try
Not to scream and to yell
How much you want to cry

I know your secret
I feel just the same
I promise I'll keep it
I won't set it aflame

It burns like a *****
When you take a shower
The pain makes you twitch
The red blooms like a flower

Don't try to hide it
Don't feel ashamed
They'll throw a fit
People will be blamed

Don't be upset
It's not your fault
Don't cry just yet
Their whispers will halt

I know it's addicting
I've done it before
Truly it's restricting
Hiding it's a chore

It feels like heaven
When it goes down your arm
Nine, ten, now eleven
It all works like a charm

I know it works well
I've felt it too
But it's a path down to hell
Only stoppable by you

"It will get better"
I say this to myself
Say it letter by letter
Now to yourself

Don't cry tonight
Wait for the sun
Put up fight
The battle has yet to be won

Drop the knife
Put away the gun
Don't take your life
Soon there'll be sun
I wrote this for myself and a friend but I'm not showing it to her

I love the night.
It makes the things we can't see that much easier.
Finding our way to the light.
The stars are beautiful.
Appearing in perfect dark.
Perfectly placed.
Such a calming sight.
To escape in a dream.
Proof that the most beautiful things reveal themselves
at the right time.
Shoving their light in the dark.
Shuffling all the reasons I love the night.
It's comforting.
Losing track of time.
Savoring every moment gazing at the stars.

The weight of the entire world replaced
with a shower of stars.
The dark, miles & miles long.
I run in thought.
Soft pats of feet through the shoving and shuffling of bright.
The advantage of seamlessly coming out of nowhere.
To look up.

Gone too soon.
