I dream of living
And daydream of death
Obsess about nothing

Sometimes I think I feel nothing

He gave me dead flowers
So I can smell them every day
The rotten petals falling
The color of decay

The washed out sunflower
The dehydrated leaves
The mold on the water
The color of debris

The richly red rose
Now drooping to the floor
The color of love
Existed no more

But still I saved the flowers
And smelled them every day
And watered them with tears
To let them grow again.

Genuine like a child
Candid like an open book
Exotic like The Wild
Reassuring like a second look

lillies
and lilacs
violet
and white
the scent
of sweetness
makes it
alright
bitter
sweetness
coats
my tongue
vines
creeping
with blossoms
twisting
around
the swing
and there
we sat
just you and me
your hand in mine
for eternity

It's perfect

He threw compliments at you
until they stung.

He kissed you
until there were violet bruises
blooming across your arms.

The fingers he traced
up and down your back
turned into thorns.

His words morphed into
bombs.

It's perfect.
Until it's not.

and if you are to love,
love as the moon loves;
it does not seal the night-
it only unveils the beauty
of the dark.

It’s seems the air is not enough for my lungs,
I feel everything is collapsed in place,
Something is pressing on my heart to death,
I feel sleepy and I feel part of me is broken,
And I wander inside my head looking for a picture that would make sense for I have completely forgotten.
