"jurisdictions" poems
A mariner on the ocean of the eternal,
Looking above the bow,
A panoramic view of the presentation of self,
Nautical boundaries and jurisdictions,
Inhabiting and found,
Consciousness of all,
Abound.

Pondering if I can be forgiven and free
Knowing I deserve to be drowned in the sea
Searching for something to assuage the pain
Hoping out of this something beautiful I gain.
Mistrusting of people around me everywhere
People only curse; not love, not care
Bewildered why I must go through life alone
With paralyzing silence and no friend to phone.
Yearning to break free of my destructive addictions
Rebuking Satan's false and furtive jurisdictions
I embrace the crucifixion and fall to my knee
Beholding my King who died to set me free.
Then kneeling at the cross, the sky breaks with dawn
My tears and my pain are surprisingly gone
As the Son bursts forth in glorious light
Obliterating the dark and malevolent night.

There is an aching within my bones
A sense of lacking for which I must atone
Thoughts of timelessness in truth and reality
Supplanted by a faith in thoughts that have gravity.
Pass the torch from which passion burns
And fulfill the emptiness for which my mind yearns
Give the shattered ego thoughts of contradictions
Spurning ever forward understanding as it's jurisdictions.
Walk forth through brimstone and flame
The husk of my body in which thoughts become tame
Growing knowledge becomes less and less sufficient
A testament to the love I find within me deficient.
Back and forth the extinguished lantern swings
Throwing darkness upon all of the lighted things
Knowing not when to feel the warmth of love
Gnawing inwards from the lack thereof
Time will only tell if this feeling should subside
Or if the strength of passion will ever abide
To press onward to a bright tomorrow
Lest I spend eternity pondering the meaning of sorrow.

Rules and jurisdictions
What if you disengaged?
Consequences you didn't sign up for
Will **** you or have you caged.
Born in a system that
You can't opt of
So innocent,
Oblivious to the paradox.
They say you have freedom
But do you really see?
They have to tell you, you have it
So are you really free?

I'm giving you,
A different point of view,
with a few additions,
under new conditions.
I’m judging you,
pulling you,
under my jurisdictions.
Using my description,
to prescribe your prescription;
your new addiction,
my diction, causing friction
perfectly written.
Styles,
blurring your vision.
Fingers between your legs,
a new position.
My words rolling
off your tongue,
Your body just listen.
When you are done,
You body just glisten.
My words,
Inside your system.
Releasing you from you inner prison.

Sapiens hiding under the popular phrase to condemn fellow sapiens
There is nothing like Ghana or Nigeria Jollof
Jollof is how you make it
And no single person's jollof taste like the other
In either jurisdictions
court rise!

time marches on
reality's fire consumes—
dreams go up in smoke
Dishonest weights, deceptive scales forsake
as chains of injustice rake the flesh
of the preyed-upon bleeding, amid wild
wolves feeding, soft sheep bleating,
protestor's pleading, jurisdictions cheating,
cajoling, wheedling, injustice repeating—
jurisprudence at the confluence
of affluence and influence
~undocumented lies exhumed
unmitigated truth entombed~
They have their thumb on the scale! We
have sussed every detail on the field of
debris, some so fiercely taking a knee,
others shot trying to flee! "I can't breathe,"
"I don't care!" Why don't they care?
Of what justice is meting beware!
One higher than the highest is watching,
waiting to signal the one riding to conquer
and complete his conquest. What's the true
future view? What more can we do
before we become past tense?
tragedies worldwide
flooding my senses daily—
fill my bag of tears

Travel to oblivion
And leech life from it
The throb of your arm
Bloodies the jar
Of some vainly collected cosmos
Irreverent in the face of your mandates
Or your pleas
Or your jurisdictions
Apparently the fool you are
Hasn’t met the fool you’ve been
Those calloused knees
Can’t help but crawl to heaven’s gate;
Two feet from it
And you collapse again
In some self-righteous descent
Back to Earth
Where Mother Epicuria
Spits in your face
And offers a novel treasure
“Oh my Savior my God
Spare me from this pain I abhor”
And in the same breath you beg
To be amorphous once more

War is natural
As we have laid down our history, so we now can see its evolution, alongside the flora and fauna
Each moment of discovery , every epoch of enlightenment, the archaeological evidence stares back at us,
The hardline facts are undeniable, the rise of aggression control and power run parallel to the advancement of our race
Our time now, so blighted by an international arms trade that has no borders and no jurisdictions , a collective desire by world powers to amass and then to mobilize, a common fear shared by enemies of old.
We fund this, we have done for too many years, we have suffered to provide for others great riches, we have furnished their attitudes towards us
We are gifted nothing in return, some of us do have more than others, some countries more developed than others,
What I have, you have not, but in return, that which you do have , so many of us yearn for
Safety , security, prosperity, content convictions
I'm sure all of this could have been obtained through the enhancement of peace without restrictions
We as a global community deserve, so much more, and to governments of all nations we implore
