Dear
defused into dumbfounded speed kicked eternal dream
almost sleep state
we never took off.
stuck in rest.
i rub your head, you lay on my breast.
unrest.
brush away webs.
your skin, it's just fine.
It'll pass.
It does every time.
Hours upon hours
Our bubblegum brains, they turn sour.

We knew better
You relearned all your vowels, all your letters.
oh, but your jaw and your lips and the spin and that glass
oh the glass..

isnt worth it.

i can't believe we ever had the gumption.
please don't ask..
ill be vague and you make your assumptions.

this is not romantic.

Sometimes
when you're sleeping and I can't
sleep,
my mind races.
There are things you don't know
about me.

My hand
on your shoulder and traveling
down.
You notice
and turn around and smile
at me.

It's your
half-asleep, eyes-closed smile, those
red
red lips that
will keep me forever
silent.

you said
it doesn't matter anyway
it never did

you said
it didn't matter
if it was a week, a month, or a year
we wouldn't be forever anyway

you once said
you loved me
on a cold and dark night like this

you said
it didn't matter

but baby
it matters *to me

Sipping from the coffee cup,
Unanswered questions stain the brim.
I watch the words assemble,
As they pitifully try to swim.

Don't look to me,
To complete you.
Don't look to me,
For the answers,
Of the questions swimming in your mind.

Don't look to me,
For a haven to rest your head.
Don't look to me,
To cure your daily pains,
Of loneliness and heartache.

Don't look to me,
Don't look,
Don't look to me,
Look to me,
Look.

it would be foolish to say that you were ever mine

like making a claim to the sun only because you felt its heat

Almost naked except
A dangling Marlboro cigarette

Expertly stroking his lover
Fingers caress a slender body

Methodically engulfing aroma
The sweet smell of ***

Swollen lips surround
Waves of rapture quiver

Eyelashes and eyeballs flutter
Sinking into oblivion

Head bobbing like a pendulum
Savoring lingering lust

Inhaling smoke languidly
******* every undying toxin

Behind the disguise
there is a circus of lies
hidden within your eyes
wistful flurry of desires
flowing colours and playing with fire
juggling all the stories you liar
liar liar pants on fire
fighting through the barriers you build
I'm coming to burn down this field
this field of dreams
gotta build it first
and they will come
they'll come
the circus will come
the ringleader you are
you play with fire
careful, you might burn down what is dire
in dire need of being said
watch where you tread
youre walking a tightrope
but youve helped me see what i wrote
i wrote in chalk what i was
but now i carve in stone
youve made me see
youve made me find me
maybe ill run away with your circus
because now ive found my purpose
thankyou for helping me
even though about the change, i was nervous
I now see my purpose
its to run away with your circus
