have a munch
on a thing
let it drip
to your chin
falling crumbs
on your chest
that rise with
your breast
blowing up
in your head
from your tongue
at the taste
have a thing
of a drink
leave the plate
at the sink
with everything
you think
with any thing
you munch
like lollies
for dessert
and snacks
for your lunch
you talk
when you chew
makes you crazy
when you crunch
that nibble
that you do
the little lick
at our love
How can I
stop you
from not
leaving

I don’t want
you
not to go

You say my
words are
confusing

What can I
not say
to
have you
stay

our lips will never meet
nor our fingers intertwine
and so bless my dreams
for indulging what's not mine
Love is more like a cone
than a cube
two rounded tops
curved like a tube
steeping down to a peak
soft like ice-cream sweet
and smooth

Love is more like two spheres
than a flat crest
beautifully moulded
and rounded
like a woman’s breast
perfectly placed here
(pointing to my chest)

Love is more like a triangle
than a square
sharp at a point
then curves from there
ends at a downward angle
then circles to the start
It’s symmetrical, identical
made of two equal parts

love is more like
the shape of my heart
If ever I forgive you
For the emptiness I feel,
Know that it took all my strength
To force my pride to kneel.

And if ever I regain the sense
My heart alone has worth,
Know I fought to find it
When you left me in its dearth.

- p. winter
its that time of year again where i shut myself down emotionally and mentally and zone out for most of the day to avoid being overwhelmed with emotion

as the grinch once said, help me I'm feeling

nothing would make me happier
than to hold your hand for the rest of our lives
grow old with you
and watch our grandchildren play under
the magnolia trees in the summer sun.

The irony of a life unshackled -
seemingly an advocate for freedom.

But only to find its beats forlorn,
as it serviced payments for past follies’

ransom.
A blind woman gave birth
to the most beautiful girl
on earth

She could feel her heart beat
but could never see her face

She could touch her hand
but never saw her
eyes of grace

She could smell her skin
but never seen
her smiling

a beautiful blind woman bore
the most beautiful woman on earth
who saw her mother more

than just with eyes and all their worth
my heart
was caged for keeping

my mind
kept safe inside a case

my soul
hid from stealing

my body
kept guard by my face
