Umbrella
Daivik Dec 2020
She was sitting on the road
Covered in tattered rags
Raindrops fell on asphalt
A hunchback came to her
She was scared
Until she was under his umbrella

In my dreams
Daivik Nov 2020
Was it yesterday when I met you in my dreams.
Where did you go?Why did you go?
I remember sitting by your side, pretending to hear you.
Now I miss the times I was near you.

Raindrops fall on the ground.
I miss your warm lap on which I slept on when I five.
Arguing about histories, politics, the wrong and the right.
Where did you go?

Can I pretend you didn't go
Can I pretend you didn't leave
Why should I not pretend that my dreams aren't the truth
Why can't I live in this fantasy
All my life?
Why did you go?

If I don't cry
Doesn't mean I don't miss you
I wish you didn't die
But, well ,that isn't....

Goodbye

My body limits my soul
As my soul limits my body

My soul limits my mind
As my mind limits my soul

My mind limits my body
As my body limits my limits

And in these limits,I am unlimited

Athena's necklet
Daivik Dec 2020
She was sitting there
Crying silently
Mascara flowing down
Down her broken face
Her broken fate

She was not a boy
Her truth was hidden
"You have to be a boy"
Her truth was forbidden

Secretively
She wore her mother's gold necklet
Lying carelessly on the bed
To free her choked up neck
It was the only rebellion she was allowed
In a society so afraid
Of someone different from the crowd
But for the moment
It was all she needed
She was proud

"Don't make the gods cry"
But what about her own tears?
The gold necklet 'he' wore
Was human civilization's greatest fear

Everybody wore a mask
She just couldn't
Or she would die
She was Athena
She was power
She was courage personified
The gold necklet she wore
they couldn't hide

Rivers of the Hill
Daivik Nov 2020
Wheels of life on asphalt tracks
Took me to that place
A memory I now inscribe with graphite
Time cannot erase

Crimson clouds in lilac skies
Snow white peaks,unchanged
Verdure allure all along
The river of eternal grace

Scarlet luminescence filtered by
Chlorophyll, fell on the tiny waves
Of the narrow turquoise ocean
Flowing in a most perfect pace

It courted the daughter of ice
As it was flowing by
Their waters met
I can't forget
Their ******* in the crimson light

Stars appeared
The trip was near
It's end, but, still

I bid goodbye
We'll meet next time

Lost in the sea of life
I'm tired let me rest a while

It has been ending since a long long time

Cherry Blossoms
Daivik Nov 2020
Cherry blossoms,
I disappear.
Like a bird
I fly into its beauty
I know it feels that too
Daivik Nov 2020
Time is slipping away so fast
Like fingertips on silken cloth
But I don't mind
I feel fine

I am floating in the sky like clouds and bubbles
Wherever the wind flows
I have no troubles
Because I have nothing at all

Each day passes
Like the one before
The next will pass the same way
I rest assured

No direction and no will
Oh how! wonderful
I'm confused right now
Let me be

You say time is passing
But I can feel that time is still
I want to but I can't
Just feel anything

Whiling away the passing seconds
Yes I know time is scarce
But let me sit here doing nothing
All these moments are just a farce

I'll work tomorrow
Let me just rest this once
I am meeting

Why I write
Daivik Nov 2020
I write to free myself from the shackles
I write to hear my limits shatter
To go into another world
Where nothing seems impossible
To see things in a different light
To live so many different lives
I write to tell the world my story
My words are my only glory.
