Misery was her name.
"fill the void," she prayed
she felt an emptiness in her
r i b c a g e
but her illness was never vain
perhaps, it kept her sane
the paradox of pain.

The mirror seems to stretch and grow, distorting the depiction that it shows.
In his arms I am beautiful,
In her eyes I am a blinding light,
But the mirror proves them all false,
And shows me that I never look quite right.
I try  and I try
But it’s never enough
I laugh and I cry
But I can’t seem to hold onto my bluff
That I am “ok
That there is nothing more to say
That I am alright
That I don’t go down without a fight
When in all truth
Ive fallen apart
All skin and bones
With a frail heart
Can you see me breaking?
Can you hear me shaking?
Isn’t it breathtaking?!
The sight of me placating
This morbid mirror
All cracked and shattered
Depicting all that I fear
But please believe me
And my fake bluff
So that I may fool myself
Into beliveing that I am enough.

Long long time ago,
When this very moment,
is a chain of past,
I will ask you  - my darling,
If tomorrow
will last.
In memory of The Moment.

if your heart was a garden, all the flowers are jealous of your beauty.
these botanical masterpieces cannot compete with the way you look to me.
if your heart was a garden, i'd spend all my time there,
cultivating the colors and composing symphonies of the sweetest of melodies,
finding the music in our dissonence,
letting each note hang like the fruit off the apple tree
in our front yard.
if your heart was a garden, i'd bring you so many flowers till you were bursting with life,
the birds and the bees, humming an even tune
in the joyous breeze.
if your heart was a garden, i'd stand in the window and marvel at your beauty in the sunrise.
Your heart is a garden and I love it.

Staring deeply, her eyes locked with mine,
Her spirit drink garnished with lime,
A beauty wrapped in a deep khaki dress,
Turns my mind into a hopeless mess,
Walking home, her body wrapped around my arm,
A whispered promise to protect her from harm,
We crawl drunken into my bed,
"Cry for me" in soft voice you said.

How can you be in love with someone,
in love with every part of them,
when you don't even love every part of yourself?
