inside
twisted mind Mar 2016
slowly strip me
from my armor.
should have known
you'd find my soul.
heartbeat faster,
breathing louder.

found a place
where
i belong.

demons
twisted mind Sep 2015
I always hide so well
my anger, love and demons
but they are all inside
and I can hear them screaming.

I hid it all so well
so nobody can see
my love, my heart, my sorrow
I'm somewhere in between.

My love, she was so still
until I finally found you
Now all of them are free
and all of them define me.

I'd never beg you to be mine
like I would never beg the sky,
the wind,
the sea,
the sleepless night.
I'd never beg you to be mine.

they
they hate me*
all the words they speak
i am crazy, weak
wasted
too **** tender
not a single light in me.

Sleepless
twisted mind Aug 2015
You stole my dreams
but they decided
you are a better home
than me.

I kept your nightmares
safe with mine
so you can sleep
at night.

affliction
twisted mind Dec 2014
Your shadow haunts me in my dreams
It holds a knife, I quietly bleed
I'm swallowing your burning pain
Our flowing blood might be the same

My fear is walking through your door
It tears up everything you know
For all our demons fit so well
We hide them good, we go through hell

Our naked hearts, a place to rest
Beneath the surface, weary chest
And four eyes widened by the sound
Of finding shelter never found

Of flames and fire
twisted mind Sep 2014
I'm stupid for believing
in miracles and good
I'm young and so naive,
that you can laugh along.

A living breathing creature,
that's too afraid to live.
So lonely, needing love,
but too afraid to miss.

Yet, there's a tiny fire
in me that i can't hide
and it could light a city up
like a lightning strike.

I haven't been created
to live another life,
that's full of words so empty,
believing wars and fights.

I'm naive, stupid, young,
expecting and afraid,
but look, the biggest fire
is made of all this pain.

the play
twisted mind Sep 2014
it is indeed a heart so full of love
and poetry is bursting out of broken lungs
show kindness only when it’s time to judge
watch curtains fall and show the ugly us

it barely hits us somewhere on the road
when music, lust and trust collide in one
fake passion over lifeless rocks and stones
stop everything and leave us all alone

Blue is
twisted mind Sep 2014
Blue is the sky
but also the ocean
kissing the shore,
for the very last time.

Blue is the snow
in all children's drawings,
blue is our skin
when we are in pain.

Blue is the empty
and blue is the farthest,
blue is the cold in our lives
and the pain.

Blue is the loneliness
always inside us,
it is the void
that makes us insane.

Blue is the biggest,
our most favorite color
it lives around us
as we call it air.

he looks like love
and he defines her
her thoughts are blur
when he's around
and when he's gone
her sight is wandering
to find him somewhere
in the crowd

his picture hangs alone
on every wall
and every corner
he takes away the fear
and makes her hopeless

his words
are just an echo in her head
and his picture
is another fellow of her death.

falling for you
twisted mind Sep 2014
as i saw the clouds getting closer
i tried to remind myself again
life doesn't really work this way,
you can't stop the rain from falling
just because you don't want to get wet.

but i was too afraid
of getting a cold once more
so i preferred staying inside.

i know
twisted mind Sep 2014
i know* you dream of stars and rockets
you want your wonders and night skies
a whole earth free and full of comets
forget the worry and the plans

but there alone i find some shelter
your eyes are now the darkest sky
and of my earth you are the center
my biggest wonder is your mind

you know i dream of being with you
and tell you stories while you fall asleep
some song will play so soft and gentle
while you can softly gently weep

i know you need a soul beside you
to tell you that you've got the sky
and while we lie here in the darkness
the brightest lights are in your eyes

missing the garden
twisted mind Nov 2013
the autumn leaves fell
as your eyes became
the only thing i see
you rip me open,
but filled with truth and unawareness
they're like the sharpest thorns.

i cut myself
                        again.
and i'm still bleeding
it never stopped
i never broke away.
pain from roses?
almost not so painful.
it doesn't even burn,
it just keeps bleeding
          till you're done.

someday all these flowers will be gone
but there will be new ones to grow.
and dead trees will just keep existing
they neither breathe,
nor feel.
the same way i can't tell the difference
which pain is thrill,
and which is real.

*the autumn leaves fell
as your eyes became
my sweetest nightmare
you still rip me open.
perhaps paths crossed
but we passed by
the garden faded out forever.
the italic was written about an year after the rest. i just thought it's more finished this way.
