She
Counts
Her shots
With sharpie
On her arm, tick tick
The alcohol swirls inside her.
It can **** you, you know that, if you keep taking them.

She
Waits,
Ignores.
Breathes in smoke.
The substances coursing
Through her veins. The two, a yin-yang
Teasing each other, now giving balance to her world.

Feel
Your
Burning
Cheeks flushing
Under the dim lights.
Are you still counting them tonight?
What are you trying to escape from? Him? Or yourself?

I would that I were different,
But only for a day,
Enough to see humanity,
Exactly as you say.

To see a smile and feel its warmth,
Would seem the strangest thing,
Since all I see are clenching teeth,
And the lies that they could bring.

You see two eyes and seem amazed,
With all that they could do,
But when I look I give a frown,
Since all I see is blue.

You always seem so certain,
In what the future brings.
You carry on in confidence.
I question everything.

And when we talk perspective,
Your whole world drowns in light.
It shines and glows for all to see.
Mine only knows the night.

If I could see like you do,
Maybe everything could change,
And when I go back to being me,
Your vision would remain.

The moon is out
At her usual time
Only the sky is bright
Blended in white clouds
A blue background
Kissed by the sun's rays
on the other side
As the moon enjoys
Her unexplored view
She is blown away
By all the natural colors
Vibrant and alive

I am,
Fascinated by this image
The sun and moon
Share the sky
In the spring
The love that radiates
In contrast
As they beam in unison
In circular beauty
A moment in the universe
That proves us
We are all connected
In some way
Our very own
yin-yang
On display to teach us
Significance of our existence

I noticed this beautiful image on my run. I felt overjoyed and excited to write about it :)

Balance
The universe thrives
Exists

A scale level
On the mountain peak
Tip it one way
Reality shatters.

The light and dark
The ups and downs
We cut so someone can heal

America sleeps
China wakes
The sun gives way to the moon

Heartbeats stop
Babies are born
Our tears in the face of their joy

Without out demons
An Angel's wings are never earned
So we balance.

Love me like a snowflake,
unique an always rare,
touch my skin and need me,
an show me how you care,

Pull my chest into you,
say you want me near,
tell me that you love me,
so sweetly in my ear,

Run your hands down my back,
caressing ancient yin,
you are my sweet young yang,
it cannot be a sin,

You touch me with your hands,
but deeper with your soul,
your young an **** spirit,
ignite a burning coal,

I feel you every moment,
always awaiting your arrival,
please come back here to love me,
I need you for survival.
